I am about three weeks behind in the show, but why on earth would NIcole kill Trent? The beans abut her marriage was already out. She didn't stand to gain anything from it. SHe may hate the guy but she only lashes out when she feels threatened.  I don't think she did it. I think Melanie did but now you all seem to think she didn't so I may not know something yet.  I hope they don't chicken out and make it be CLaude after all

Bo and Hope's holier than thou routine is really wearing thin.  this is Bo's usual demeanor, but not usually Hope's.  I find it really hypocritical of them to be looking down their noses at Nicole as if she were some sort of filthy criminal when Bo's own mother has just as much if not more evidence against her!  And I agree with everyone who said how stupid it is of them to move from suspect to suspect as if just because they've found another one, that lets all the previous one's off the hook....really stupid.  I feel like smacking those self-satisfied smirks off both their faces!  I hope Nicole does just that when she is (I presume) found to be not guilty. 

It seems to me that even though they do not have a maternity wing that Nicole could be put in a cell without another prisoner.   I thought Hope saying she'd do all she could do to protect Nicole and her baby isn't enough.   That baby is an innocent victim in this situation and even if Nicole isn't about to deliver, she could have a miscarriage if another inmate attacked her.   

for the remainder of this storyline (which could be anywhere from 1 week to 3 years...) I would appreciate if we all referred to Bo & Hope by their new names ---- Slow & Dope.     Because that is an accurate description of how they are acting.     I've expressed my disgust with this SL in other threads ---- so one more won't hurt.   besides, I like talking about how dumb Slow & Dope are!!!!!!!

 

how can you arrest someone and throw them in jail because of a ripped up marriage certificate and a button at the scene of the crime?    Buttons can fall off at any time - not just during a struggle with another person.  Can they prove that button came from Nicole's dress?    Is Nicole the sole owner of a dress like that?   Did she have it custom-made for her, with custom-made buttons?    What does a ripped marriage license prove?   Nicole's fingerprints would definitely be on it --- but so would Trent's.   Who's to say that Trent didn't rip it up?    any witnesses to any of this?

 

If that's the amount of "evidence" they have, then Caroline, Max & Melanie should all be in the cell with Nicole.  Max's bloody shirt?  Hello?   Caroline with a knife over the dead body?  hello?   Melanie admitting to fighting with Trent in the cemetery?  hello?         I know this is a TV show, but still!!!!   grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Talk about "slow".....   I just caught on to what you meant by Slow and Dope.     Duh.     lol

In the meantime, who is after the Mayor's killer and the guy who shot at Sami?   

I can't wrap my head around how a knife that Melanie had which ended up in Trent's back and not have her prints.   I know, I know, this is Salem, but Nicole said she watches Law and Order, two bad Slow and Dope don't watch it and also CSI.   Maybe the writers could learn a thing or two by watching, too.

if you think Bo's beard had something to do with his brain power and that he suddenly became stupid after he shaved off his beard, then your memory is as poor as mine....  Bo has always been a stupid cop, just like Hope, Abe & Roman.    that's why I renamed him "Slow"    ROFLMAO

 

 

 

Sheryl, I thought the same thing.   That doesn't make any sense.   If he had a shadow of a doubt, then he should have waited before having her arrested.   However, he had a conflict of interest.   He wanted to get his mother off the hook.  

And what is with the judge?   I don't believe she was exactly not "bias".    EJ didn't even get a chance to argue against Bo's statements.   She didn't take it under consideration and leave the courtroom for 10 minutes or so.   She just put Nicole in the slammer.   I think we can conclude that just maybe she isn't as pro Dimera as EJ thought despite John's contribution.
