Anyone else following this case? I had originally thought the mom (Casey) sold her, but now I think she killed her. What do you all think?

They were Casey's pants.  Cindy washed them because she said they smelled horrible.

I think mom Cindy knows her daugher killed Caylee and is now doing everything to protect her daughter.  She doesn't want them searching in the woods for a dead body. She wants them hunting in Texas, Puerto Rico or somewhere else for Caylee because "someone saw her in those places".  She keeps saying Casey gave the toddler to "someone she trusted", but the apartment she dropped her off at hadn't been lived in in over six monthes.  I think in Cindy's own warped way she is trying to protect her own child because she knows Casey killed Caylee.

The latest last night on Nancy Grace was that traces of chloroform has been found in the trunk of the car. And they found searches that were done on chloroform from Casey's laptop. Her mom was a nurse. So who got this chloroform and did it fall into the hands of mom Casey? You can't just go out and buy chloroform in the stores.

I'm glad Tim Miller decided to continue his searches in the woods, swamps and other areas when asked by police to do so. The bounty hunter needs to butt out.

I'm sicken by all this and hope that they find little Caylee and give her the buriel she deserves. Casey should be hung for this and grandmother should just shut her trap. If Casey didn't want her daughter why not give her to a Church or put her up for adoption, why kill her.

Hi Patty & Maria.  I watched last night's Nancy Grace show also. The new evidence about the chloroform is quite interesting, dont you think? Especially given they found several searches for chloroform on Casey's computer.

Unfortunately Maria I think Casey's used Caylee as a way to keep her parents right where she wanted them.  As long as she had Caylee they probably gave her money and helped her out financially.  Casey is a party girl and I'm sure having a child she had to take care of constantly annoyed the heck out of her. How can she go out partying when she has to be at home to take care of a her daughter?  Unfortuntely Casey reminds me of my ex-SIL who would dump her kids off with anyone to go out to the bars.

Patty... I'm also glad Tim Miller is staying there and searching. You could tell the other night he was visably shaken when Nancy was questioning him. I think he really wanted to believe Cindy that Caylee was with someone Casey knew.  Someone obviously spoke to him to keep him on the case and let him know what Casey is saying isn't true.

Yes. It was the sherrif's office that asked Tim Miller to stay with the search.

Can you believe some annonymous person posted bond for her after all of this new information? Unbelievable! What in the world are these people smoking?

I saw that the search party is asking for volunteers for today thru Sunday. I sure hope if Caylee is dead that the searchers do find a body and do NOT disturb any evidence that might be found. With the rain, etc., I doubt that there will be much evidence to find as it is. I wish I could help with the search either physically or financially, but it just isn't possible for me to do either.

I'm really starting to believe that this sorry excuse just might get away with the disappearance and/or murder of her child.

According to the CNN news this morning, Casey was bailed out of jail for $500,000 and is staying with her parents. Forensics (spg) test in the car showed a lot of chloroform and the think that Casey did this cholorform thing so that Caylee could be knockout sleeping so she could go to a party. They are saying that perhaps it was an accident however if Casey does not confess, they are going to charge her with first degree murder. They also found that in that car there are signs that there was a dead body in the truck. How disgusting is this woman?

I wish the media and other people involved would stop saying that it could have been an accident. Since they are saying that, we can be sure that she will say it was just that when she's arrested for the death of Caylee. Then the danged justice system will only charge her with second degree murder or involuntary man-slaughter or whatever you call it.

I keep thinking there has to be more to the story because I just can't understand why people keep trying to get her out of jail or saying it was probably an accident or she's covering for someone else. The evidence so far points to her and she has done nothing to cooperate.

I watched the 20/20 report last night on this. I am baffled to tell you the truth.  She is bizarre but she seemed so normal and loving with the child. She may have hurt the child but I am having trouble believing she did something to delibaretly hurt the child.  Maybe she is a complete sociopath and can have no conscience about what she has done, it just doesn't seem that way to me. Keep in mind the media is on their own feeding frenzy for their own purposes.  We've seen it before, remember the poor security guard in the Atlanta olympics that found the backpack with the bomb. The media crucified him and had you conviced he was an al-queda operative. Then they found out he was completely innocent  and just a good samaritan. They destroyed his reutation in the process

Yikes, before I get rotten tomatoes thrown at me, I am not saying I think she is innocent. She may very well be that sociopath but seeing her with the baby and how she and the baby interact, it seems like she really cars about her and is a loving mom.  I can't reconcile the two sides of her. That is all I am trying to say.

I just wish they would find the child and be able to prove what happened.  If she is guilty of hurting that child in anyway, I hope they throw the book at her!! Part of me prays she is telling the truth and they find the child alive, safe and unharmed.  Just don't think that is going to happen

I  didn't keep up with this case but I did read some of it.  Between the computer searches for Chlorform, the traces of chlorform in her car trunk, and the traces of there being a dead body in her trunk. Everything is pointing to her and I think she's guilty.  She not only did a search for chloroform but she obviously used it.  Otherwise they would not have found any traces of it anywhere. It sounds planned.  I do hope they find out the truth soon.

And the story just keeps on changing! Now she's saying the dead smell is from some animal that crawled up into the hood of her car and died. She then says she scraped the squirel (sp?) off of her fender. UGH!

I sure hope they get enough evidence to arrest this woman for murder soon. All they have right now is circumstantial evidence which is mounting by the day.

Her boyfriend said she was waking up with nightmares in a sweat after Caylee supposedly went missing. I was thinking it was probably fears of getting caught, since she doesn't seem to be out of her mind with worry over her daughter.

Bubu, did you know that that man from Atlanta died this year of a heart attack I believe.

I hadn't heard that Maria. I always felt bad for him since he was just a good samaritan who helped stop the situation from being worse and they treated him like a terrorist. Then they find out they were wrong, whoops, too bad, sorry we destroyed your life.
