Has anyone else besides me noticed the guide channel on Comcast is missinforming us on when shows will be on?
Or is it just the guide in my area?
I kept seeing adds for the season premiere of Law & Order when I'd be watching Days and thought it said it was premiering last night, however my guide didn't show it. The show is listed with my series priority list but it didn't show that it would record any up coming "new" shows so I figured I must have missunderstood when the show would start.
Then yesterday, I saw another add and it definitely said the show was premiering last night so I went to the NBC site, and sure enough it was.
It was scheduled to come on last night on NBC at 10pm, est, but my guide listed a different program.
I decided to record the 10pm show, just in case it was really L&O and it turns out it was.
Now today, I saw an add saying America's Got Talent is on tonight yet my guide didn't show it.
Well I shouldn't say it doesn't show it. Actually it's listed but only under a channel that's broadcast from a different state from me.
I'd like to know what's going on.
I wonder if this is a guide issue or Comcast.
I'm going to give Comcast a call but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this same problem?
Sheryl

Funny you should bring this up! My hubby was home with pneumonia this week (feeling better and back at work today) and called to ask me a question about "Hope's" real name because he saw Kristian in an old movie. He said it was on one of the Encore channels but he had gone there to see the movie that was listed but the Kristian Alphonso movie was on instead. He didn't know the name of the movie because he didn't catch the beginning and the Comcast guide listing was wrong.

I called Comcast and the lady wanted to reset my DVR. Before she did that, I asked her if she thought I should check the other DVRs in my home to see if the listings were wrong because if they were wrong, then I couldn't imagine it was my DVR that was causing the problem.
She said I should and they too were wrong so it must have something to do with the guide station.
She was going to make out a ticket and report it to who ever is in charge of guide problems.
I hope this gets fixed soon because I don't want to miss some of the shows I like to record.
I guess until it gets fixed, I'll have to check all my scheduled shows to see if they're set to record.
Such a pain in the neck.
