Saturday, September 20th a childhood friend passed away in a motorcycle accident. He was only 33 yrs old. The last time I seen him he was in his early 20's. I never once thought that something like this would happen to someone I knew as a child. My heart breaks for his family. He was his father's only child. I don't know how they are going to get through this. My heart breaks for them. He was the baby of our group. He was sweet man who had lots going for him. He was a Chicago police officer. He will greatly be missed. He leaves a 4 yr old son. My heart and prayers go out to his family.
I am so sorry to hear this Amy. What a tragic loss. I feel for his whole family especially his child. This must be so difficult for you to have lost a childhood friend .
My good gracious, another tragic death on Sept 20th. That was a very bad day for some of our members. My condolences to the family and you. That poor little boy of his will never get a chance to know his father. Hopefully he will have some memories of him as he gets older. I don't remember much from before I was 5.
