Now that's something I've never made or even tried. I just don't think I'd like it, since I'm not a "pecan person" unless they are finely ground for a crust. I recommend asking for tried and true recipes over at Recipezaar. Ask on the Request A Recipe forum at this link. |

I use the one on the Karo syrup bottle and it always turns out great. Good luck with it |

Thanks Peachy I would love to have it. We love pecan pie, especially during the holidays. What I actually did for Thanksgiving was what Big MamaRita, suggested, I used the one on the back of the Karo syrup bottle. It turned out great, I actually made two, but I would still love to have the receipe no hurry. Thanks |

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I have been having computer problems.
Joe’s Pecan Pie
3 eggs (well beaten) 1 C. dark Karo Syrup 3 Tbsp. butter (melted) Pinch of salt 1 Tbsp. pure Vanilla, or 1 ½ Tbsp. imitation Vanilla 1 C. sugar 3 (heaping) Tbsp. all-purpose flour (shifted) 1 C. pecans 9” reg. pie shells
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Mix eggs, syrup, butter, salt, Vanilla, sugar, & flour together until blended then add the pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degree for 45 min. check to see if done. It will make 2 pies.
