I havent read anything about Lauren quitting or being fired but I dont know how they're going to back peddal from "LUNG CANCEER" It's not like they have a cure for it and speaking from someone who lost a family member from it even if they took the lung out she still would only have a year or less to live.
Donnalee, it is very sad to lose a loved one to cancer - (I lost my mom to breast cancer many years ago) --- but don't confuse lung cancer on this show with lung cancer in real life. I'm sure that Kate will be miraculously cured. After all, if Philip can have a face transplant (which included totally different bone structure and different hair), then this cancer won't kill Kate. no matter what topic this show chooses for storylines, they rarely follow anything close to real life.
I certainly hope that Kate won't be leaving the show ---- she may be a total bitch witch nasty jerky slimebag, but she's really good at it!!!!!! LOL
My MIL died of lung cancer. They gave her 6 months but she only lasted 5 weeks as she developed pneumonia as a complication and actually died of that. There are people who have survived lung cancer, it all depends on the stage, type, your overall health and how aggressively you are treated.
