To try and curb some of the repetitive posts that we're seeing, and to help dispell some of the rumors being spread, here are the facts about Copy and Paste posts.

What you can do:
  • Copy and Paste images from websites that allow it, such as PhotoBucket, Fotiki, etc.
  • Copy and Paste images from an MSN Group's photo album to a page or message board, even if it is in another MSN Group.
  • Copy and Paste a post from one message board to another, or from one MSN Group to another.
  • Copy and Paste "message board games" such as Scrabble, Connect Four, Wheel of Fortune, Hangman, etc.  These games are created using HTML coding.
What you cannot do is "cheat", or "save" on storage space by uploading an image from your computer directly to the message editor, then copying that message, canceling the reply, then pasting that message into a new reply window.  That method kept the uploaded images from being charged to your storage, which violates MSN's ToU about inappropriately accessing their website(s).  MSN has since fixed the glitch that allowed it, so it no longer works.
