The scambaiters play along, goading the scammers to jump through extraordinary hoops in hopes of getting their hands on their victims' cash.

One con artist gladly tattooed himself with a design that read "Bilked by Shiver" and sent the photographic evidence to Shiver Metimbers, the founder of 419eater.com, a Web site that documents the scambaiters' revenge.

LOL....Naw, I am a member of the "419Eater.com" site and know "Shiver Metimbers" for his wonderful scams of the scammers.  He's given me some excellent advice on technique. You ought to check them out...particularly the "Trophy Room" and the "Letter Archives."  These guys are greedy and unscrupulous and loads of fun to "bait."  My favorite is "Metimbers" responding to a scam wherein he takes on the personna of Gillian Anderson.  You might know her as "Scully" from the X Files tv show.  His recitation of the scam runs about three pages and features appearances from "Mulder"  (David Duchovney) as well.  Laughed my butt off.  It's titled "I Pray to Die Henceforth."  Link to it here~~  http://www.419eater.com/html/john_ademola.htm

Good stuff. It seems that I keep getting more and more of these emails lately. It's good to know you guys are out there. I might need to join the group and turn the tabldes on some of these scammers.

Arak~  We have lots of fun there.  "Dueling" with the "Lads" is much akin to fighting an unarmed man............

I need to join up and get even with this last Mugu that sent me an email claiming to be  a U.S. Marine in Iraq. Check this out:

Attention MY Good Friend,

Greetings to you!

I am Lieutenant Colonel Alan Foster.A US Marine in Iraq, As you may Know, there are several cases of insurgents attacks and suicide bombing going on here. However, with the connivance of a few people I managed to  move funds belonging to some deceased terrorists who were  killed. The total amount is US$25 Million dollars in .

I want to move this money to you so that you may keep our share for us  until when I shall come over to meet You. I will take 70%, for my
partners and I while you take 30%.No strings attached.Just help us move it out of Iraq as Iraq we all know is a war zone.Note that I plan to use
the British Diplomatic courier in shipping the money out in a Box,using diplomatic immunity. If you are interested I will send you the  full details.

My job is to find a good partner that we can trust and that will assist us. Can I trust you? When you receive this letter, kindly send me an e-mail signifying your interest including your contact details. This business is risk-free. Get back to me immediately .

Respectfully,

Lieutenant Colonel Alan Foster.

This guy's fake email address is:

[email protected] <[email protected]>

This is just WRONG!

LOL, thanks Sarge. I'll have to try this and see what happens. My luck, the feds will come after me instead of this loser. Not a bad idea though.
