Yupp will be down in bed for a couple of weeks.  I plan to have a laptop so I can check in but if it goes like the last operation I will be doing a lot of sleeping and resting. Got to stay off my feet for a while.
The Doc is reshaping my left foot like they did to my right foot a couple of years ago. Hopefully when it is all healed I will be able to walk normally and wear the correct size shoes. Right now I am wearing a size and a half bigger shoes because my feet have broken bones in them and they grew back wrong. So they have to saw the bones almost in half and then re-break them and then drill a hole in the end of the toe and run a long steel pin down the inside of the bones to hold them straight. And then the real fun comes when they pull those pins out. Without any anesthesia. The last time they did it (on my right foot) I just about put the intern into orbit.  I bet he will not straddle someone's foot again when he does that. I have waited a long time to get this done and will be happy to have it all over.
They gave me a check list in the Pre-Op room to fill out. The last question was;  Do you have any questions you wish to ask the Doctor?
I wrote; Have you ever done this operation before and how many of your patients survived?
No answer yet.

Wish me luck
Sarge
