And the nice man driving the brown truck gave me presents. One long box had one of the new models of Rugers Mini-30 in it. I don't know if all are aware that in 2006 Ruger redid the mini-14 and mini-30 rifles. They addressed the complaint about accuracy and tightened up the tolerances which made it shoot better and more reliable. Now I am glad I waited so long. I will be going out tomorrow (Sat. 28th) and try it out.  Another long box had a rifle (carbine) that I have pondered over for a long time. Finally Gun Tests featured one and proclaimed it a good buy for the money. It is a Hi-Point carbine in 40 S&W. And just because my son likes them, I got the one with the laser mounted on it. I am so tired of staying at home on crutches or in a wheel chair that I just have to get out of this house.  Luckily I have a son that likes to shoot as well as I do and we will spend some quality time together this Sat. Oh, one more thing came. It was a very heavy box and I wondered what it was. When I opened it up it was a whole case of .357 Mag ammo. The funny or maybe good part of it is I did not order it. ??? I am setting it back until they get their orders straight.  I also got me one of Lee's little Zip trimmers. And it is a dandy. Beats the heck out of cutting the cases back on a crank type case trimmer. A gun buddy had one on his work bench and told me to try it.  No settings, just put the proper cutter in the case and pull the handle. I can see why they call it ZIP.
