Cheddar Biscuits
If you can find low sodium cheddar cheese, you can make great tasting biscuits similar to the ones served at Red Lobster.
2 c Flour
1 T Sodium Free Baking Powder
4 T Unsalted Butter
2/3 c Skim Milk
1/2 c Low Sodium Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
1/4 c Unsalted Butter,Melted
1/4 t Garlic Powder
1/2 t Parsley
Combine flour and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles
coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and cheese and beat until combined. Spread
on a greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Combine melted butter, garlic powder and parsley and pour over hot
biscuits. Cut in squares.
