This has been the wackiest day! I get the wheel chair out and Kim calls and says Rob says we can drive up close enough for grandma so she doesn't have to walk so far, so the chair goes back into the closet. We head out for the other side of Fort Worth and just before we get there Rob calls and says the other team is not there and cannot get there before eleven so we went searching for someplace to get some breakfast and wait it out. Then we get the call that tells us it might not even take place today, maybe this evening. This game had been moved so many times, the time of day and the place that everyone just got lost in the shuffle.
So to make a long story short, we drove, probably a grand total, there and back, of 75 miles at least, just to go to Whattaburger and have some biscuits and gravy. We both live within 3/4 of a mile of a Whattaburger! Oh well, grandma doesn't get out often! LOL.
