Afternoon Pam and everyone! Well I have been outside with Al, and we dug up all the plants and moved them to my other beds. The wall can go with the bulldozer. Then we went for a walk and talked to the contractor and I got all my questions answered. He is looking at getting 12-14 ft. balsum firs, from another contrator who is develpoing on the other side of tow. He'll plant those all along the back.He wants to get the ditch dug and finished before winter and I agree, that will catch all the water runoff, I don't want any of that coming our way. That ditch will all be grassed and will look good when its finished. If any of you are familiar with our Canadian balsom fir trees, they can grow very tall wide and are lush and thick, so it would make a great wall and barrier across the back.I am happy about that.I aske him what kind of riffraff would be moving in to this fourplex....he said the kind of riffraff that pay cash...and he's asking over $300,000 for each of these units, can you imagine?? Its adult living , so no kids, I think we should be ok, no midnight partying going on.
I have some baked potatoe in the oven and made this what I'll call goulash, with hamburger, chinese veggies, bean sprouts, etc..it smells really good. Its cooling off outside, by tomorrow morning it should be good and cold for us to stand outside for the Rembrance Day memorial. We are going to New Maryland where we used to live and Jim and the kids are coming too, we'll go for lunch with them when its over.
Hope you all are having a good day, I need to go relax for awhile!
