Regarding the deliquent geriatrics, as my exDIL called us; when she stayed with us one summer.
We had so much fun alll very innocent. There were seven couples and we celebrated everything together. We even made up reasons to celebrate. Like have a funeral for a pair of Frank's old shoes. I threatened to cut off his feet if he did not give them up. When he did we had a party and buried them. We even planted a small bush over them and then we sang Amazing Grace. My very dear, but serious sister in law was over from England...she was not sure what to make of us but could appreciate the funny side of it all. The story and the antics of the stolen wheel barrow went on all the winter, with wanted posters and even a shower for the owner. It was a lovely crazy time the years we spent up there in Elliot Lake.
Of course we had to make our own fun in the winter evenings there was not much going on up there then.
Hope you do not get such a rowdy lot behind you.
Hugs
Maggie.
