Have you noticed some of the clothes they are selling for little girls?  They look to me to be copies of very provocative womens clothing. Even the panties for little girls!!!  Do you think little girls should be dressed in sexy clothes at the very young ages?

It makes me angry--our children are being made to grow up way to fast and our little girls are being shown it's their sex that makes them--not their minds and morals.

Carol

I agree with you Carol.  My daughter gets so upset when she takes her little girls out to buy clothes.  Thankfully, she is very strict with them and will not allow them to wear things that are so provocative.
I remember last Halloween, she had a hard time finding a "cute" costume for the girls.
Let kids be KIDS!  Why are the designers in such a hurry for them to grow up?  If the parents would stick together on this and refuse to buy such trash, perhaps they would stop designing such stuff.

Carol , I couldn't agree more! Its ridiculous some of the outfits out there, and of course these little girls want to be in style! So we look like the bad guy when we object! I know at Alison's school they are very strick, no sleeveless tops! I like that. At least at school she'll be dressed half decent. Its getting worse too, actually all the clothes out there, half the tops I can't even get on one arm!  Alison is starting to get self conscience of low  and revealing tops, but I am sure that will pass when she hits her teens! I don't know how it can be stopped because this trash seems to sell well, so they will continue to bring it in.

Yes I agree, if everyone would stop buying this trash we might have a chance, but there is always those nitwits out there that think its cute to let their little girl look trashy.

I have always felt girls around 14 started to look like little tarts~  Sent my daughter to a cosmetic class to learn how to apply makeup properly as they never listen to MOM! .lol......She never was allowed to wear provocative clothing and doesn't to this day...........It is up to the mothers and fathers of these little girls to keep a handle on them.........
Gad they are 8 years old now and getting belly buttons pierced!~~~~ Where are their parents heads?????........It scares the hell out of me.......Instead of women learning about equal rights they seem to be pushing sexuality like I have never seen...........Sad, sad, sad!

Yes I have noticed that to. Even on babies bibs. Stuff like hot stuff. Hot chick. A little girl about ten was wearing a shirt that came above her belly and had on it Hot stuff. On pants  its  but had touch  me. What happen to clothes that were cute. Gar animals etc for a small child. I also hate negative messages on the clothing. Brat, big mouth.  looser are some I have saw. I also agree the world is condtioning these children in order to get ahead sex is the answer.  Let the kids be kids and not rush them into growing up, if want to call it that. What a parent sends them out in might not be what they where in school. I agree it is very sad.

I agree totally!  The way these clothes are designed for these children are rediculous.  What is it with the belly hanging out!  And I swear, with all the heavy weight kids and then the fat rolls hang, it is utterly disgusting.  I guess the parents and the kids need a lesson or two in decorum.  Even Avery's clothes (she's four) is provocative.  My daughter won't buy them for her, thankfully.  I guess if the people would stop buying them, then the designer would stop making them.   Puzzler is right, we are conditioning our kids to dress like that from birth up!

I agree with you Carol 100% no my girls are not allowed to wear even mini skirts either. We are
christian and try to dress and act like it. We do let them wear swimsuits tho and dont belive you just have to wear dresses only. Modesty in clothes is a good thing. julie
