Interesting!  It's probably pretty valid for those who breed for money and not health and temperament.  Ha ha back in 1976 (two years before we got our first dane) we were at the vets with our lab and setter and asked him if we decided to get another dog which breed would he suggest.  His answer was "a mut from the pound", lol.
