"Tough as Steel"

WWE comes back from a break the cameras cut into the ringside area where all of the fans who had come out to see WWE Monday Nigh Raw Live, where in their seats cheering, and holding up signs for the superstars that they loved, and loved to hate. A quick run-down of the list of matches that they where going to see on Raw, came up on the Torn, as the crowd cheered even more. Just then 'Sinner' by Drowning Pool plays out into the area, and David Steel makes his way out to the ramp way. David looked out into the crowd and smiled as he started to make his way down the ramp way. Lillian: Making his way to the ring, please welcome from London, England�?David Steel. After Lillian has got done announcing she then goes and sits back down in her chair as David reaches the bottom of the ramp, he lowers his sunglasses a little and looks over the top of them as he taunts the crowd. He then walks over to the steel ring steps and starts walking up them, David stops when he gets to the top of them, to look into the crowd once more, and smiles a little as he climes though the ring ropes and into the ring, as he gets into the ring he rests his sunglasses on the top of his head. He then goes to the side of the ring that is next to where Lillian is sitting, he asks her if he can have the microphone, as she stands up again, and walks over to the ring, and hands the microphone to David, and then goes and sits back down in her seat. The lights in the arena go back to normal as the music starts to die down a little bit. David looks into the crowd who have still not gone quiet yet, he rises his arms up half way then lowers then down again slowly, telling the crowd to quite down a little, after a few minutes they finally start to quite down. As they do, David raises the microphone up to his lips, and then starts to speak. David Steel: Thank you for that warm welcome, and I have to say that it feels so great to be here tonight, for what should be one heck of a show, and I’m glad that you where all able to make it here tonight. Now then as you may or may not know, tonight I will be going one on one, with The Rock. Now Rock I don’t have that much of a problem with you, however, the one thing that I do find wrong with you, is that you think everyone is out to get your spotlight, that everyone wants to copy you and make movies, well Rocky I have a little newsflash for you, no body wants to copy you, because we love what we do in this ring to damn much, and none of us, will ever turn our backs on these fans here, to go and make movies. Rock you may say that your back for good, but what he really means people, is that he is back until he gets a good movie offer, and then he will be gone for years on end once again, and none of us will ever hear from him even once, what so ever. Now anyway on to the match at hand, Rock I may respect what you have done in this ring, but there comes a time when you need to step away from it and move on with your life, and Rock that time for you, pasted ages ago. I mean Rock if you love wrestling as much as you say you do, you would do what is best for it, and retire and let the new young people take there rightful place in the spotlight. Rock I really don’t care if you have fought and won, or fought and lost in the past, because that is what that is the past, I’m looking to the future, and I’m dead set on leading this place into the future, and I will do that by becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. But first I have to get past you, it would seem. That’s okay, that’s cool. It’s just a little bump in the road so to speak, and I will get past that bump come Monday Night Raw, when I beat the ‘Great One�?in the middle of this ring, and cover him for the 1�?�?, and then I will move on to the next round, where I will do the same to who ever I have to face there as well. Sure these people they may cheer for you, but really, deep deep down inside of them they can’t stand you, they hate your gut for turning your back on them by making all of these films. They just cheer you, because they don’t want to upset the man who calls himself ‘The People’s Champion�?Well Rocky, that is the only Title, that you are going to be holding for a while, because I’m going to make sure that I take you out of this tournament, by kicking the teeth right out of your mouth, and then I will go and pick each one of them all up, wash them all, put them all into a little bag, and then I will stick that bag right up your ass. Rock, this match it’s not about Batista, it’s not about The World Title. No you see this match is about one thing, and one thing only. And that is me kicking your ass all over the damn ring, and proving that your time is over, its gone, and that you should not be getting into a ring what so ever anymore, and if I have to be the one to make you see that, then so be it. I mean to tell the truth I don’t mind proving to you that you should not be a wrestler anymore. Maybe you could become an interviewer, or maybe a referee or hell even a manger, I think that you would be great at any one of these things, so you see there are ways that you can give to the world of wrestling still without having to get inside the ring, and wrestle. I mean I know that once you get started in wrestling, that you get hocked and you never want to stop really, but there comes a time when you just have to stop, and Rock for you that time should have been a few years ago. You say Rock that this is just business, well you see to me, in some ways business can become really really personal at times, you see Rock you have held the World Title so many times before, that you really don’t have anything to prove by winning it again, other then to fed your ego. I mean really think about it, you’re already sure to get into the Hall Of Fame, so do you really need to be the World Heavyweight Champion again? The answer is no. You don’t really need to hold the World Title again, you just want to fed that big fat ego of yours don’t you. You see the longer that you hang around, the more the people will start to get fed up of you, and the more they will just wish you would retire all ready. –The fans go into a mixed reaction, with some agreeing with David, and a few not agreeing with him- I can see that some of you diss-agree with me, and that’s okay, it’s a view and you people are free to it, just as I am free to mine. But Rock you can list of names such of Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, DDP and Stone Cold Steve Austin, all that you want to, but it won’t help you win this match, these people won’t help you win this match. You see Rock all I want you to do, is to face the facts. That your time is now at its end, and it’s time for someone else to take over and run with the ball so to speak, and that person will be me, Because I’m the hottest young star alive today, I’m in the best shape of my life, and I am more then ready for this match, and believe me when I say that I’m more then ready to kick your ass, all over the place in front of the whole world live on Raw. So in other words Rock, if you don’t move out of the way, and let us younger guys, take our rightful place in the spotlight, then I will have to make you move out of the way, and take the spotlight for us younger guys. The choice is yours you can either step to the side and just retire a healthy man, or get pushed out of the way and made to retire anyway, like I said that choice is all yours, I just hope for your and your family’s sake that you make the right choice. So Rock you have only a few short hours left to make that choice, so think about it, and think wisely, Because I’m sure that you don’t want all of the people that are here tonight, see you make a fool out of yourself now do you?
