The scene opened up inside the arena at the ringside announcers table where Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler where sitting.
>Jim Ross<
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to WGEF Live.
>Jerry "The King" Lawler<
And right now, we have a special guest joining us here at ringside, none other then David Steel.
The camera then panned out to show David Steel also sitting at the table.
>Jerry "The King" Lawler<
Welcome David. Its good to see you back at the arena again
>David Steel<
Why thank you King. It feels good to be back here again.
>Jim Ross<
Well I think one of the first questions we have to ask is, how are Kat and little Jaden doing?
>David Steel<
They are doing good Jim thanks for asking. And I know for a fact that Kat can not wait to get back into that ring again, and get back what is rightfully hers, the WGEF Women's Championship. But I thought that I would make a return to the arena here tonight, and join you guys here at ringside, and get a first hand look at some WGEF action.
>Jim Ross<
Well it's good to have you back. But lately it seems that you and rumours are like peanut butter and jelly. You can't seem to get one without the other.
>Jerry "The King" Lawler<
Yeah. I'm just looking at WGEF.com here, and there is a rumour going about that, WGEF mangement sent out a letter to you stating that you needed to start showing up to arenas again or face getting fired, and one top of that its rumored that you where in fact released from WGEF a while back, but just signed a new contract not long after. Is there any truth to these rumours?
>David Steel<
Well King, usely I would not take much notice of rumours. But in this case, there is some truth to them yes. But I mean look my wife has just given birth, so I felt that I should be by her side durring the time that she was getting ready for the birth. I mean what is really all that wrong about that?
>Jim Ross<
Nothing really.
>David Steel<
Right. Now sure maybe I should of been around here a little more then I have been lately, but I dont see how anyway can have a problme with me, being there by my wife's side. But again yes, there is truth to those rumors.
>Jerry "The King" Lawler<
So you where released, and then signed a new contarct?
>David Steel<
I guess that you could say that yes. But that is not really the point anymore. The point is I am once again under contact to the WGEF, and I am back.
>Jim Ross<
Well speaking of rumors. There has been talking that you and Kat are thinking about teaming up once agian, and going back after the WGEF Tag Team Championship.
>David Steel<
Yet again, there is some turth there. Kat and I have talked about the idea. I'm not saying that we will, I'm not saying we won't, all I am saying is that Kat and I never really lost the Tag Team Titles, so in my mind at least, that really still makes myslef and Kat the true uncrowed Tag Team Champions of the WGEF, and you can bet your ass that if the show comes, then we will become two-time Tag Team Champions. And you want to know why? Because Kat and I make one hell of a great team, which is proven by the very fact, that we where never beaten for the Tag Team Titles, they where really just striped from us.
>Jim Ross<
You do make a good point there. But what other plans do you have in mind, now that you seem to be back here in the WGEF?
>David Steel<
Oh you want to know what other plans I may have huh JR? Well let me just say, that there seem to be quite a few jokes here in the WGEF. People like Salman Van Dam. Now sure he can get a few fluke wins, he can win the odd Championship here and there, but really it does not mean anything. In a way he is sort of like Chris Orton, who by the way I am 6-0 over. They are one in the same really. They can win Championships, they just cant hold on to them for long. Chris Orton lost the, WGEF Unidsputed Champion, the very first time he defended the Championship, and who did he lose it to again Jim?
>Jim Ross<
That would be you.
>David Steel<
Damn right. People like that are no more then jokes of life, people who can talk big, but nine and a half times out of ten, they fail to back up their words in the ring.
>Jim Ross<
Well SVD was the first WGEF Televison Champion.
>David Steel<
In mocking voice Well SVD was the first Televison Champion Returns to normal voice I don't give a rats ass on if he was the first person to hold the WGEF Televsion Championship or not. But there is only one reason as to why he was the first person to hold it. And that was because he never had to face me to win it. And I understand that Chris Orton is now going after the Televison Championship. Now that is all well and good, but the question is not, will he win it? The question is will he even have it that long if he does win it?
>Jerry "The King" Lawler<
Wait, are you trying to say, that you are going to enter the hunt for the WGEF Televsion Championship?
>David Steel<
I'm not saying that no King. I'm just saying that none of Chris Orton's reigns with any Championship here have lasted more then two months really. But if I have to be the one who takes that Title from him, should he win it, well then it will just be another victory over Chris Orton for David Steel.
