 The scene opened up backstage, the Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, David Steel is seen backstage in the locker room holding his World Heavyweight Title over his sholder. He looks into the camera as he gets a cocky smile on his as he starts to speak.

David Steel: Now then, in a few short hours right here on WWE Riot, you people will bear witiness to the death of the current holder of the WWE United States Championship, Salman Van Dam. Because you people will be seeing the United States Champion taking on the World Heavyweight Champion, with Triple H being the special guest referee. Now first of all, Triple H let me give you a warning right off of the bat. If you even think of trying to srcew me over in anyway shape or form in this match, then you will pay the price for it, so you had better call this match down the middle or else you will suffer the ultimate price. So anyway back to SVD. You see Salman, I can understand if you are suffering somekind of brain damage, from all of the times, that you have gotten your ass handed to you, by nearly every single person that you have ever gotten into this ring with. But my god I thought that even you would know, when to say no and back away. Do you like getting your ass handed to you by me or something? I mean I would of thought that even you where getting sick and tired of this whole thing by now, because lord knows that I am. And someone such as myslef, should not be wasting his time, on little people such as you.I'm a huge star, I'm the main event guy of the WWE, and you are just the jobber, who's job is to open up the shows, with the least intresting matches of the night, or in some cases to make people like me, look even better then we already are. Though really there no way that you can make me look any better then I already am. You see Salman, this time I want to make this clear to you, so take notes if you have to, because I really do mean what I say this time. I am sick of having to deal with you, your like a little fly, that will not leave me alone. So on Riot, I'm going to do what I should of done a long long damn time ago, and that is to kill the fly that will not quit bugging me. Tonight SVD you go one on one with the top dog of the WWE. You step into the ring with the man who will without question go down in the history books, as one of, if not the greatest World Heavyweight Champion in history. People years from now, will be holding me in the same light as people hold Ric Flair in today. I'm the future of pro-wrestling, I mean hell I've already held the World Title more times then great names such as Bruno Sammartino, Buddy Rogers and Andre the Giant, I've already done more in my short career so far, then those three where able to do in their whole lifes. So SVD you had better beware, because you may think that you know me, insideout by now, but let me tell you that you do not know a damn thing what so ever about me. You see I have the pefect quick speed needed inside that ring, I have the mindset to do what ever needs to be done to pick up the victory, and hell I've yet to even reach the prime of my career and just look at me, I've already done things that most people can only dream about doing. And you sitll want to risk your career and your life, by getting into the ring with me, well I guess that it's your choice at the end of the day, but just don't blame me, when your life and career are in ruins, because that is the fate that will be waiting you, if you chosse to go though with this match. You see at least the special reeferee in this match Triple H, was smart enough to know that he had chance of ever beating me, and saved himslef from a bad beating and from being made to look like a fool in frount of the whole damn world, but then again, we both know that your not smart enough to to know that you do not stand any chance what so ever at beating me at Riot. So SVD you better be ready because you are going to be the first victem of the new era in the WWE, the era known as The Age of Steel. And as for everyone else out there watching, you had better start getting used to this sight, because it is a sight that you are going to be seeing for a long time to come. Because I'm going to lead the WWE right on into the year 2008, as it's World Heavyweight Champion. And you people will start showing me repesct damn it.
