Scene One
It had been little under a week since the UWR, the Ultimate Wrestling Revolution, had signed the former WCW War & Revenge, World Wide Entertainment and World’s Greatest E-Federation World Champion, the self proclaimed Real Total Package, David Steel to a UWR contract. He may of still been new to the company, but he was already planning on making his Ultimate Wrestling Revolution in-ring debut, at the next UWR Pay-Per-View entitled: Local Bash. Where there would be an open battle royal match, in which the winner would become the new Number One Contender for the UWR World Championship, and would compete for the Title at the following Pay-Per-View. David was inside the arena’s gym, lifting some weights to get himself into top shape for his UWR in-ring debut, not that he needed to of course, as he was always in top shape. He was wearing a pair of blue jeans, with no shirt on, he had his iPod in one of his jean pockets and had the earphones places in his ears as he listened to some tunes while lifting the weights, as he was deep in thought about UWR Local Bash. He was then bought out from his thoughts as he heard someone clear their throat, he then put down the weights and turned off his iPod and took the earphones out of his ears as he looked up to see that it was Nicole Everest standing there, with a smile on her face.

You know, I could just stand here watching you do that all day.

>David Steel<
Really now. Just how long have you been standing there?

>Nicole Everest<
Long enough. I would ask you how you are doing, but I think it’s pretty clear to see just how you are doing.

>David Steel<
Yeah, well you know Nicole; I do need to keep myself in top shape. Especially seeing as at the upcoming Pay-Per-View UWR Local Bash, I plan on making my in-ring debut. Because I’m going to enter that open battle royal, to become the Number One Contender for the UWR World Heavyweight Championship. You see it is simply my destiny to become the UWR World Champion. It is like I said before the Ultimate Wrestling Revolution is going to be entering a new age. It does not matter who I have to go though in this match. Be it JBL, John Cena, Edge, Rey Mysterio or even that so called ‘King of Kings�?Triple H. None of them will be able to match up to the force know as David Steel.

Well I’ve got to say, you sure do look like you are in top shape for this match.

>David Steel<
Oh I am Nicole, I really am. I mean hey just take a look at me. I’m in the best shape of my life, and I have not even reached my prime yet. So just think of how great I’ll look when I do reach my prime. I’d just hate to be in the shoes of all of the other poor soles that are planning on taking part in the Battle Royal, because they, as Vince McMahon would say, have no chance in hell of winning. Because Nicole you are looking at the future of wrestling. And the future is NOW. It’s time for people like Triple H and JBL to just retire while they can still leave this business with some pride. It’s time that the past just stood down in order to make the way clear for the future. Because either they willing step down and keep their pride in tack, or they will be forced out of the way, and I will strip them of every single bit of there pride. You see they may all think that they are all high and mighty, but once they step into the ring with me, they will quickly learn otherwise. >Looks at watch< Oh, I have an interview that I need to get to. Hey do you want to tag along with me?

Sure why not.

>David Steel<
Okay then, lets go.

David smiles as he put the weights down, and the reached over and took a bottle of water, and took a drink from it, as he and Nicole left the gym while they carried on talking.

Scene Two
About an hour later David Steel along with Nicole Everest was standing next to backstage interviewer Adam Johnson.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m am standing here next to David Steel, who rumour has it, will be one of the contestants in the Battle Royal at this weekends up coming UWR Pay-Per-View Local Bash. David would you be willing to confirm these rumours at all?

>David Steel<
Well Adam, it appears that in our modern day world with the Internet and what not, word sure does get around fast. Because yes I do indeed plan on entering this weekends Battle Royal match. And I do plan on becoming the Number One Contender and earning myself a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at the next Pay-Per-View.

Well you are still new here, in fact this will mark your in-ring debut here. What makes you sure that you would even be able to come out as the winner?

>David Steel<
Look it is quite simple, just take one look at me? This�?this is not just the body of the sexiest superstar to ever step foot into the UWR. This is the body of your future World Champion. You see I have already been the WCW War & Revenge World Heavyweight Champion, the WGEF Undisputed Champion, but I was also the past person to be the World Wide Entertainment World Heavyweight Champion. There is no question that I am surely the future of wrestling, and you don’t�?have to wait for the future; because the future is here, the future is now.

Well there are talks that people such as Triple H and JBL will be taking part in this battle royal as well. How do you think that you can fare against such as them?

>David Steel<
How do I think I can fare? Where you not just listening to a word that I said. I mean just look at me, I’m in much better shape then Triple H or JBL could ever dream of being in. This is how it is going to be, I don’t care how many people enter this battle royal, because once it is all said and done, and the smoke has cleared, it will be me that picks up the victory and I will then move on to become the World Heavyweight Champion, you just mark my words. Before this year is over I will not only hold Gold here, I will be holding World Heavyweight Gold. And there is not anything that anybody can do to stop me. No one is going to stop me from reaching my destiny.

David then grins as he and Nicole Everest then walk off as the scene fades out to black.
