The year 2007 had come to an end, and the year 2008 had started. And the first edtion of Brawl of 2008 on it's new day of Tuesday, was the first chance for the WWE superstars to make thier mark on 2008. The main event of which would be TJ Powers taking on Andrew Johnson, in a match to see who would face David Steel for the World Heavyweight Championship at Sole Survivor. However on Brawl David would be in a tag team match as he teams up with his brother Matt Steel to take on the team of the WWE United States Champion Michael Mixx and Mike Tyson. The scene opened up backstage as David Steel was seen standing in hallway looking into the camera as he started to speak. David Steel: Well here we are, 2007 is been and gone, and we have entred a brand new year. And you see 2008 is going to be all about one thing, and that is the Steel-Sanders era, and it will all start on Tuesday Night Brawl, when me and my brother take on the team of Michael Mixx and Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson. The same Mike Tyson that was the boxer? The same Mike Tyson that could not even beat SVD at the end of last year. Well if you ask me this match does not seem like it is going to be all that hard what so ever. Now sure Michael may br the current WWE United States Champion, but you see, the fact of the matter is that he can not even begain to even match up to me. I mean you want to talk about this 'Mix Empire' well that's a joke in itslef. And newsflash buddy its not the Steel era, it's the Steel-Sanders era. And your Mix Empire that you want to call it, can never and will never even compare to the Steel-Sanders era. You see along with my brother Matt and my wonderfull wife Kat Sanders, I am going to rule over the whole of World Wide Entertainment. You see you and Tyson are just going to go down as the first two victims of the Steel-Sanders era in the year 2008.
