My name is Cindy.  I have been a saved member of the Body of Chirst since the summer of 1999.  I was raised Catholic and knew who Christ was and that he died for my sins, was buried and resurrected, but I had never fully trusted what that meant for my salvation.  I left the Catholic Church at 17 and attended some other denominations over the next several years and finally just gave up because I never found answers only more questions.  In 1998 I began listening to Brother E. C. Moore... and wow... I found the answers I had been searching for.  The key was here in this verse:

 

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

 

I am now 53, and I wish I had known the truth at 17.

 

I am looking forward to joining in the discussions.  I will try to always be respectful with everyone in the group.  Whether I agree or disagree, I will show with Scripture the reasons why.
