Why You Should Join This Site

It is my belief people come to these web sites, not to be "preached" to, because they can get that in their local church, on the radio, on TV, in books, magazines, and even on web sites (home pages) people set up which have no ready method of feedback.  This web site is here to encourage "audience participation" and that is what determines whether it is successful or not.  If YOU don't participate, then it becomes a one-way street, and that is exactly opposite of what is desired here.

Please feel free to post your beliefs, and to substantiate what you believe and why by citing your Scripture references.

I believe people come to these sites to read what others have to say, and voice their own opinions and beliefs.  Sharing what we believe helps us understand exactly what it is we DO believe and why.  It clears up our own mind as we put our beliefs into print.  The give and take of debate helps to firm up our thinking.  The Bible tells us that as iron sharpens iron, even so a man is sharpened by the countenance of his friend.  That leaves room for disagreement on some things, yet still agreeing on the major doctrines of the Christian faith.  Hey, I've even had to change my mind on some things!

There are no big I's and little you's in the body of Christ.  No more Moses, no David, no Abraham.  We, as Bible-believing, Blood-bought Christians, are all part of the body of Christ.  We can learn from each other, as we are all at different levels of spiritual growth.  Let those who are seemingly more mature not despise those who are less mature, but lovingly and kindly instruct them in the ways of Christ more perfectly.

It is my intent for this site to be a place where debate is spirited, informative, and even fun.  We must love one another at all times, for by this shall men know that we are the disciples of the Lord Jesus.  Now let us encourage one another, and provoke one another to truly search the Word of God for His truth, and don't be shy about sharing what you believe and why.  And don't be upset if everyone, or even anyone, does not agree with you.  Maybe you are way out ahead of the rest, or maybe you are lagging behind!  If you're ahead, give us time to catch up with you.
