Doz

I have gone over a lot of the notes you have posted on the Revelation study with increasing unrest.  Until, I got to a statement in this post "The Binding of Satan/First Resurrection/Last Battle/Judgement of the World":

In the last days Satan and his crowd are going to become so powerful that the only thing that can save us is for Christ to come and get His church out of this mess and destroy the planet. They say God’s world is "the late great planet earth" and that "Satan is alive and well on the planet earth" Instead of seeing Satan as having been defeated and striped of his power by the death, resurrection and ascension of Christ, Scofield’s dispensationlists and Hal Lindsey.s "money making best sellers" have caused Christians to give up any hope that the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God can change the tide of evil and rebellion in the world. We have to wait until Christ comes and literally binds Satan for a thousand years.

Specifically this part:

...have caused Christians to give up any hope that the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God can change the tide of evil and rebellion in the world.

We CANNOT change the tide of evil and rebellion in the world.

We CAN reach individuals that might accept Christ as their saviour and find eternal life, and share that truth with others, on an individual basis... but Scripture itself shows that the tide of evil WILL continue UNTIL Christ returns.

First to remove the Church the Body of Christ out of harms way.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Galatians 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Then after the 7 years of tribulation/the time of Jacob's trouble (which is that wrath to come in 1 thessalonians 1:10) Christ will return to establish His Kingdom on earth.

At the second coming satan will be bound in the bottomless pit: .

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

All idols, prophets and unclean spirits will pass out of the land and be remembered no more

Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

Zechariah 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

As we discussed before in a different post, Christ isn't yet seated on his own throne yet,  but on His Father's throne.... Christ isn't yet excersing that power over his enemies.

Matthew 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

The word "till" I make thine enemies thy footstool... should show you that the "till" hasn't happened yet. If it were happening today, we would not be told that ... the days are evil... and ... to take on the whole armour of God.

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

So, while I appreciate you sharing your study with me... I cannot continue to spend any more time with it.... Not all of the information in it is doctrinally correct for the dispensation of Grace that we are in.

As an ambassador for Christ... my "ministry/calling/works" what ever you want to call my work for the Lord.... is somewhat as that of Priscilla in Acts 18:26.

Acts 18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

To expound the way of God more perfectly.

To share the truths of the Church the Body of Christ, our salvation by Grace, and help lead others to the knowledge of their eternal life in Christ, so that they in turn might preach the word of truth.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

In Christ,

Cindy

Anyway... I believe I well documented my beliefs... We can agree to disagree.... Yes??

I will agree that we do disagree on this topic.

Yet.... I don't like the term "agree to disagree".

When I agree to something it is something that I intend to do... like agreeing to go shopping with my sister.  I intend to do that.

We might not always disagree with each other, so how about we don't "agree to disagree"...but leave a little room for agreement somewhere down the road. .

In Christ,
Cindy
