I'd like to think that all who read this article live out their lives believing that God does not let anything enter into the lives of His children that they can not handle if they trust in Him to be faithful to His promises.
The passage that these thoughts comes from is (Matt 2:13-23). Consider with me three concepts that will make our lives richer and fuller in quality.
To Practice Hearing God's Voice.
God Speaks in such a manner to us in our times that we too can sense His voice as Joseph did. We do not always need to be in church to be near God. When we make a a place our hearts for Him and humbly acknowledge His voice we find a loving communion with Him not to be equaled to anything else.
Everyone is able to have these familiar conversations with God. Some more, some less -- He knows our capabilities. Let us make a start. Perhaps He only waits for us to make one whole-hearted resolve. Courage! We have but a short time to live.
Let's us begin now remembering; time is short! The discipline of the spirit must begin now. God speaks to those who, like Joseph, are willing to obey.
To Practice Trusting God's Providence.
Mary was Joseph finance and she was going to have a baby and Joseph knew the baby wasn't his. They had come from Galilee to Bethlehem for the tax registration-their finances were most likely running real thin after paying Caesar his due. God in His infinite wisdom and mercy arranged to finance the trip to Egypt through the Magi from the East in order for Joseph and Mary to make the journey and than return Nazareth and set up Joseph in the carpenter business again.
God protects through His providential guidance. As you make quality decisions this New Year, trust God's providence. He loves you and does not let any circumstance come into your life to defeat you.
Practice Trusting God's Presence.
The events that reveal God's presence in Joseph and Mary's life. In God's presence He works for the good of those who love Him and trust in Him and are called according to His purpose.
Here are five suggestions that will help you live a happier life. 1. Count your blessings.
2. Don’t over schedule your activities.
3. Conquer confusion and frustration with love, pray for the people that are unlovable. Some people aren't easy to love under the best of circumstances. It is difficult to dislike someone you are praying for.
4. Have an outlook on life that lifts the spirits of everyone you come in contact with. For some this will mean looking for the good in people and things and not their faults.
5. Trust God. And take time for people.
