I believe this election is one of the most important elections that we have been faced with in decades.

My purpose in presenting this discussion in not to sway you to my personal political views at which time I am undecided.

I plead with you to vote based on your conscience after you have researched the political ads and the news media sources that may or may not be true.

The fact is that perceptions, or a persons belief may or may not be true based on feelings and as such are dangerous to say the least.

I beg you to do your homework using the available inter net sources that will give you the truth of the news items presented to the viewing public.

Both candidates have approved ads that are less than true. Please check out the ads.

Here is a site that give both sides of the information in the ads that appear in the news.

http://www.factcheck.org

Voting records of Senators

http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Congressional Email Directory

http://www.webslingerz.com/jhoffman/congress-email.html

Senator Obama’s Web Site

http://obama.senate.gov/

Senator Biden’s Web Site

http://biden.senate.gov/

Senator McCain’s Web site

http://mccain.senate.gov/public/

Gov. Palin’s Web Site

http://gov.state.ak.us/

Using true facts is necessary for making informed decisions.

Please ask these questions when making your decision on whom to vote for.

I what he or she is saying the truth or do I just feel like it is?

Have I researched the issue for myself so I can make an informed choice?

Am I voting, based on my research findings, of because I’ve just like the candidate I’m voting for.

Last but not least. If you choose not to vote you place a vote for whomever wins and have no grip coming if they do not execute their duties and responsibilities the way you would like them to.

Be blessed,

Don

I finally have a candidate I can vote FOR instead of against.

I am satisfied with Sarah Palin and will be voting for her.

I respect everyone's right to vote for whom they please, although I may not respect their vote in particular.

I question again, Doesn't being truthful mean anything when voting for a candidate.

Each ad that either candidate puts out can be checked for truthfulness.

Both candidates are gulity og shading the truth.

Isn't it the most important to figure out who is the most truthful?

To be absolutely honest, probably the single most important issue is keeping democrats out of office.

It is a great bonus that I can vote for a good Christian outsider (Sarah Palin) at the same time.

MrWonder,

How do you know Gov. Palin is a Christian?

Too much stuff is coming out about Palin. She is fighting the investigation by refusing to answer. To much stuff against her. Until this stuff came out I thought McCain had a great chance with her. Evidently he did not check her out before he chose her.

If he had chosen a different woman he would had a great chance but I believe this woman will cost him the election. We will see.

Countryboy:

There are two reasons John McCain will win:

1.  Obama did not select Hillary as his running mate.  If he had, he would have been virtually impossible to beat.

2.  McCain did select Sarah Palin as his running mate.  Millions will vote for her that would not have voted for him.

Palin will win the election for McCain.  Watch and SEE.

MrWonder,

I don't lie. Aren't those folks that claim to be Christian not suppose to lie?

Mr Wonder. With due respect to you I said McCain had a great chance until all Palin's past came out. Obama did not started the facts about her past. It was the Media. I for one would not someone that might had used her postion as governor to get someone fire. She refuses to cooperate in the investigation and my thoughts are why? If you are innocent why not cooperate? If you have nothing to hide I would want it out in the open and let the people judge. She is trying to keep it underwraps for some reason.

Good question Don. The fact is there are many so call Christians that lies. Notice I said so call Christians and not true Christians. I did not know Palin was a Christian or that she claimed to be one.

Countryboy... 3 things:

#1 Isn't it odd that Obama and Biden aren't being properly vetted???  Seriously, the news media has dung up stuff like her husband was caught drunk driving...they are using that against him.  While ignoring the fact that he was 21 y.o. (and probably a moron like most 21 y.o.'s)...that may not excuse his behavior but he is much older and was probably a moron, like even myself at that age.

#2 Palin did not use her position to fire her ex brother-in-law.  Her ex brother-in-law was discovered to have used a taser against his 7 y.o. son (and his higher ranking whoever on the force fired him)...seriously, a small child should NEVER be tasered!  I don't care how out of control a parent might think they are...it is still a small child!!!!!!!!!!  I cannot imagine the long term effects that that child might suffer with for the rest of his life.  Plus, I know I wouldn't want a police officer that clearly abuses his power on the force.  There are enough police officers that are soo full of themselves that we don't need one more that will clearly use unneccessary force against anyone.

#3 I believe I can find fault and call the overwhelming majority of Christians... so called Christians for all of their sins.  I dated this one guy who happened to be going into the ministry (at the time)...let me just say I pray for whatever congregation gets him because he is quite the deviant...and my friends termed him a sociopath for what he did to me.  I don't think that I nor anyone else can judge a person because God will do it for me.

That's all for now...

AND the ex-brother-in-law never was fired, even though he made death threats against Palin and her family.

I know she is a Christian the same way I know you are, Don.  She said so.

I am VOTING FOR SARAH PALIN and I firmly believe SHE is the reason McCain will win.
