"…do you feel at liberty to share your foundation?"

I am more than willing to share my foundation.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

My foundation is the one that the Apostle Paul laid... The foundation which is Jesus Christ.

I do not claim any foundation that is of an earthly denomination. I have attended many and don't hold to any. Neither do I claim the foundation that was given to Israel. Their foundation "was" (Christ on earth in His physical body) and "will be" (Christ on earth in His resurrected glorified Body) on the earth at His coming... an earthly kingdom. My foundation is in Heaven. My foundation is sitting on the right hand of His Father, My Father, on our Father’s throne.

My foundation was laid by the Apostle Paul. My door of entrance into the Body of Christ was made available when the Apostle Paul began going to ALL MEN and not just to the Jew first and the Greek.

Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Before Ephesians 2:13... I would have had no hope... I would have always been without Christ in the world. I have always been an alien from the commonwealth of Israel. The Israel of God, His Holy Nation... was gone before I was born. BUT NOW ... I am brought close to God by the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, not by Israel. I no longer need to bless Israel to be saved. Christ provided my salvation.

I don't know what the reformed faith is, but I know who I am in Christ, and where to find His Word. I no longer need to search for a correct denomination that might have the truth. I have no need to study what I am not... when I know who I am in Christ. The truth is in the Word of God. I compare every teacher I listen to with the Word of God. If they are not saying what God is saying I know from God's Word that they are wrong.

In Christ

Cindy
