Hi,
I'm a little confused with the bible passage, where Jesus tells his followers to look at his hands to show the marks of where the nails were. This is when Jesus rose again and met with his followers.
Anyways, my main problem with that is that the Romans would not have put a nail through the palm of the hands. Why because your hands cannot hold your body on the cross, instead if they did that the weight of your body would rip your hands apart. When they did crucifixions they would have put the nails into just below your wrists because that spot could indeed hold the weight of your body. (Yes, it is a little scary that I know these things.)
My confusion comes from could it have been a mistranslation somewhere along the lines...to is the bible incorrect on this manner?? (which, if so, that would open up a whole other can of worms)...
