I was baptized Catholic as an infant.  I was raised in the United Methodist Church as a child.  I became a Baptist as a young adult.  I converted to Lutheran after my marriage.  Now, I am Orthodox Preyspertian (Reformed).   I think I've learned a lot from the exposure to so many different denominations.  For one thing, I feel comfortable and quite at home attending any Christian based church.

I live in West Michigan.

My name is Joshua and I am a born again Christian. I live in Tennessee and attend Jason Chapel Church of the Nazarene. I was raised in a Christian home but when I turned 18 I decided to take the world head on. I wasn't interested in serving God because it did not suit my lifestyle, but I am so thankful that God loved me enough to give me a second chance. It took me about 6 or seven years and a discharge from the military to realize that my way was not going to work and that the only way that I was ever going to be happy is if I gave my life to God and let him guide and direct my path's. I was 24 when I turned back to God and I am now 27 married to wonderful women and God has blessed us with an awesome son who is now 1. I Love the Lord with all of my heart, soul, mind & body and I want him to use my body as a vessel for his word. I Like Isiah's response "Here am I send me."

Praise the Lord!  My name is Bobbi Jo , and I am 25. I have been married almost three years, and I have an 11 month old daughter.

I attend a christian apostolic church.  I try to be in our church choir as much as possible.  I enjoy praising the Lord, and learning new things from the bible.

Hope to talk to you all later.  GOD bless, BJ

Hello All My Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

My name is really Mary but my aka is Faith....   I just joined your chat group  yesterday and although it is not exactly what I was looking for I would still like to stay. I am not very smart in God's word to do any kind of a debate or discussion, but I do love my father and love to share what he has done in my life, so far. Some grand things and some not so grand or so I thought at the time..
I was born and raised Catholic and later found out no matter what RELIGION you are, really Christian in the root. I AM a Christian. I do not try to convert anyone to my way of thinking or belief. I have a hard enough time minding my own way...I am a divorced mom with two beautiful grown children.
Thank you for excepting me into your group.
Hope to hear from you all soon...
Can anyone tell me just how this works, the discussion I mean....Do you just read the message board and chime in with your two cents worth....There are a lot of discussions on the board...Help It is all so overwhelming to me...
I also have included a picture of myself....This would be fun to see who I am talking with...
Thank you
God Bless

Hi Faith,

When I read your original message I figured you were looking for a chat room where you chat back and forth, on line.  Right?  This is a discussion board and I think this is perfect for you, especially since you say you don't know much about the Word.  You can really learn here.  There are different views on certain non-essential to salvation issues.  It's a great way to pick up your Bible and see for yourself and thereby learn a lot and draw closer to the Lord.  And yes, we just chime into any discussion that we want to get involved in and give our 2 cents, hee, hee.   Or you can start your own on any subject that is near and dear to your heart.  It was overwhelming to me too, the first time I posted in a community a couple of years ago, but I jumped right in with both feet, and I'm ever so glad I did.  It's kept me in the Word on a daily basis and I've "met" some really wonderful people that I'm looking forward to meeting in heaven.  It's also a great way to fellowship with other Christians, on a daily basis, rather then once or twice a week at your local church.

Thank you for your picture!  It is nice to see who you're communicating with.  I think everybody should do that.  We have a picture of  G and his wife, and somewhere on a thread, a picture of Cajun and his wife, but I think that's about it.  Well, maybe we can do something about that.  Are your children at home with you?  What State do you live in?

Hi Marianne,

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I can only sit for short periods of time so that does not leave me a lot of leasure time when I work on the computer.
Thank you your repling and making me feel, welcomed. Yes, my intent was to find a live online bible group. I have found one and I also will stay in tuned to this one as well. Like I said I am not very versed in my bible to be able to throw in my two cents worth. When I talk about God and all his wonders I must know what I am talking about, so that is why I try to stay within my own experiences I have had with God and then sometimes he will lead me onward.
I did see the picture of Gljca and his wife but have not found Cajun's yet. I will keep looking.
I live in Idaho with my boyfriend and my children live in California. They are both grown and doing their own thing in life. I am proud of my children.
Thank you again for making me feel welcomed. Hope to hear from you soon. Must go now need to rest.
God Bless
Faith
