Taco Lasagna
Ingredients Taco Lasagna 3-4 lbs ground beef, browned and drained 3-4 taco seasoning mix( 1 per pound beef used ) mix according to package with the 1 cup water per mix 3-4 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies in them 3-4 bags ( 2 cup size) of taco or mexican blend cheese, shredded 3-4 onions diced and sauted 2-3 cans black olives, drained and sliced corn or flour tortillas, flat and uncooked
Dips: Dip#1 2 cans refried beans 1 stick butter and garlic salt, mix and serve with chips Dip #2 Cream cheese and Picante sauce, mix and serve with chips
Procedure Start with the tortilla shell and cut if needed to cover the entire bottom of pan, then layer meat, onions, tomatoes, cheese,black olives. Keep layering until you end up with cheese on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes until warmed thru. Serve with sour cream and shredded lettuce, rice and or refried beans. Deeper the pan the better, for the layers needed. Can be frozen before baking , then thaw in the refrigerator overnight before baking. Recipe can be cut down if this makes to much for your family.
