We are taught at a young age to be modest about our achievements, and some of us have become masters at downplaying our feats.
While humility is nice, don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back for an honest effort. Trying your best and staying in the game make you a winner--no matter who gets the prize.
*Visualize success. Paint a picture in your mind of you achieving your goal--and any changes in your life it might bring. Once you "see it" your goal becomes more realistic to you.
*Break big goals into smaller, more manageable ones. Take it one step at a time.
