You are only young once
So live it the best you can
People will come and go in your life
These are things you'll grow to understand
You will learn that promises will be broken
And dreams will come undone
Each day you'll grow stronger and wiser
And learn how not to run
No matter what choices you make
Pain at times may follow along
Then one day it will dawn on you
That you've found your niche, where you belong
Life is not always easy
There are days you need help to pull through
And when the times are at their worst
That someone may know just what to do
You will feel love, you will feel pain
You will feel lonely and sad in between
You will do your share of things you may regret
Or say things that you didn't really mean
One day you will think you have found
That love that will last forever
But that love may end
Making you wonder, will I find a true love, ever
Everything has a reason for happening
It is all up to you to leave open the door
For that someone very special
That someone who will love you for evermore
