I was sitting alone in the dark of night,
Just letting the world pass by,
Then I met you, A friend in my life,
I was so happy that I could cry.
You talked with me though I knew you not,
You treated me with kindness and care,
You put a smile upon my face,
My heart was floating on air.
You told me your story, I told you mine,
We sat and talked all night,
At the end of it all, I had a friend,
Someone to lead me to the light.
I feel like I've known you for oh so much time,
I feel so close to you,
You've taken the loneliness out of my life,
And I know you can feel it too.
Lilsy you're so special, so lovely, so kind,
So wonderful, it's so hard to see,
That someone like you, could enter my life,
And care about someone like me.
But I know that it's true, you told me yourself,
And I know that you're honest and good,
I thank you so much, for being my friend,
And I'll be there for you like I should.
I really don't know, where we go from here,
But I know that I want you around,
To share my life, my hopes, my dreams,
Shhhh, I'm kissing you, don't make a sound.
