Heya John, long time no poking head through door I know! Each day seems to pass with alarming speed so I must admit it is nice to take five and post a reply! How cool is it to have your poem published? Huge big congrats I wish I'd bought the paper to see it in print!!! Is your poem on the site here? I'm gonna go looking!!!!! I have been in a boat similar to yours in the past and can fully understand your frustration. The only thing I can offer is to remain positive. Try to picture yourself in that job you want, spend a few minutes each day feeling like you have the job. Spend each day as though you have that job, get up at the time you would normally have to, stick to a routine of being employed!! Might sound a bit odd but if we keep ourselves from 'feeling' unemployed then we won't be jobless for too long. So chin up and be grateful for what you do have and the things you seek will come.
Love Bren aka Meme (sounding a bit like she's spent too many hours on a mountain top!!) xx |
