Hi..

Forgive me everyone if I am not doing this right. I have participated in a chat with Howie a while ago, but am unfamiliar with how to post a question.

My question is this: My husband just turned 40 and was diagnosed with PKD last year. His sister has it and is not doing well and his father had it and passed away at a young age. The neph says his kidney functions are good and as long as he keeps his BP under control, that will help. Now to the question: I read about what everyone is going through and the pain and other related problems. He does not seem to be as bad. Will he steadily decline or can he remain this way? I will always be here for him and offered to be a transplant if I can, but I am just curious since he seems to be doing a lot better than most. Is he just putting on a brave front for me?

Thanks for your help,

Dana
