.x.The Main Attraction

The scene returns from the darkness and it opens up on the outside instead of the backstage area. All of the seats are filled in the arena with people who have come to watch the show. Tonight was going to be the beginning of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament with qualifying matches. The main event match features the briefcase holder with the number one contendership contract inside, Ryan Gilroy. His opponent his the man who calls himself the main attraction, Jacob Clarke. Jacob Clarke is a newcomer to Blood Gore Wrestling and has been with the company for about only two months. He only has one victory under his record against Jared Johnson who he made submit to submission a few weeks ago. He's going up for opening up the show to being featured in a main event match. If Jacob Clarke manages to defeat Ryan Gilroy this week on Onslaught then he can have another match against him and his contract number one contendership will be on the line.  This match is a huge opportunity for Jacob Clarke, he himself thought he wouldn't be getting this kind of match but he's going to make the most of this opportunity. He has nothing to lose in this match but only to gain. This might be the only chance that Jacob has even a chance to become a champion in Blood Gore Wrestling. If he doesn't win this match against Ryan Gilroy then more than likely he'll never see his face in the championship match for a long time. Tonight on Onslaught Jacob is going to show Ryan Gilroy and the whole world that he deserves a opportunity for a match with the contendership on the line. This match with Ryan Gilroy is about proving himself that he's good enough or he would have had the contendership on the line in this match. Ryan Gilroy is so far underestimating Jacob Clarke and his abilities to wrestle which is not a good streighty for him. Jared Johnson thought just because he was bigger and stronger than Jacob but he was the one who tapped out. Doubting Jacob Clarke is going to be one of the main reasons that will lead to Ryan Gilroy downfall and defeat. ''Fake It'' By Seether plays over the personal announce system and Jacob Clarke's custom video plays on the large screen. It shows highlights of his career and some angle shots of him. The camera stays on the stage as Jacob Clarke comes out and has his back turned to the crowd and raises his hands up and poses out with them and then turns around after a moment. He's wearing a black custom Armani suit with a white dress shirt under and a tie. He makes his way down the entrance ramp way and then walks over to the steel steps and walks up them step by step and gets into the ring. Jacob walks over to the nearest turnbuckle and poses once again and points to himself. Jacob comes down from the turnbuckle. He picks up a microphone and waits for the music to fade away and begins to speak.

//Jacob Clarke:
" Tonight as many of you know, I am getting the chance that I have been waiting for since I've come to Blood Gore Wrestling. I've been waiting for the chance to show that I belong to be in the same ring as the rest of the talent in this company. I've called myself the main attraction of this company since I've signed my name on the bottom line of the contract. Tonight in the main event of the show, what I have been saying is going to be put to the test if I do belong to be in the same light as the other wrestlers or that I am not ready for the main event status. I've been in this company for only two months and I never thought that I would find my place in this situation that I am in right now. I am not going to let this opportunity pass me by because I know that it might be my last one. Tonight I am going to go one on one with Ryan Gilroy in a match that the stipulation states if I win tonight then the next time the two of us face in the ring it will be for his number one contendership contract for any of the championships in Blood Gore Wrestling. He currently has the authority to choose a match for any championship that he desires. It can be from the World Heavyweight Championship to the Extreme Championship and if Ryan Gilroy felt a bit curious about himself he could even go for the Women's Championship. Ryan Gilroy holds something that I want and that is that briefcase that contains the number one contendership contract. I am still standing by my statement about Ryan Gilroy and that he's nothing more of a pretender instead of a contender. Thee only reason why he had that briefcase in his hands right now is because he was in the ring with some local wrestlers that the owner hired to purposely lose to Ryan Gilroy since none the other talent entered the battle royal at the pay per view. Ryan, how much more delusional can you honestly get? Did you think that Matt Reynolds would come down to the ring and just hand you the briefcase with the contract inside? You thought wrong but you can continue to think that. If I would have entered that battle royal then I would be holding that briefcase in my hands instead of you and have been the contender for any of the championship in my choice. Tonight you've gotten lucky since your contract isn't on the line against me but will be soon enough. I only have to defeat you tonight to able to challenge you for the contendership and believe me that its going to happen. You think that I am going to be an easily won victory for you? I would consider you to carefully rethink your decision because just like Jared Johnson thought he was going to get the better of the ''rookie'' named Jacob Clarke but it was him, in the end of the match who was tapping out. The some exact outcome is going to happen with you Gilroy. I am going to beat you down until you can't get up because of the pain that you feel will be nothing like in the past. Then I am going to make you tap out on live public television for everyone here tonight and everyone watching. I am going to embarrass and humiliate you in front of all these people who support you. You're going to be known as the man who lost to Jacob Clarke and also lost his contendership that he won. I can't imagine what losing to me would do to your career. "

Jacob removes the microphone from his lips as the people are booing him loudly but he just ignores them. Jacob forms a smirk cross his face as he brings the microphone by his lips and begins speaking.

//Jacob Clarke: "
The only reason that you have been able to keep your undefeated record from being broken is because our paths have never crossed until now. You have something valuable that I want and I am not going to stop until I am holding the briefcase in my hands. Your undefeated record hasn't been diminished yet is because you have never stepped into the ring with someone like me. Up until now you have been wrestling against talents like James Stone or Salman Van Dam who are below average in their ability to wrestle and I as a newcomer could easily defeat them both with my eyes closed. I am going to make a bold statement to say that I am going to be your biggest challenge of your career to date. I maybe what you call a rookie but I am not such a rookie like you think I am. I have past wrestling experience from different companies that I have been before. It's not like the second time I am only stepping inside of this ring. I've heard that your going to be bringing two of your friends; Charles Boddington and one half of the golden slutketeers; Rachel Slays. I suggest you that you also rethink that decision carefully because if any either of them interfere in this match then I will have no problem taking both of them with Talyn. Talyn is going to be ringside for this match to watch her man in action who will come out the victor and also to make sure that Rachel Slays doesn't try anything. Night-Mare isn't the only one you'll have to worrying about to attack Rachel Slays. By you having Charles Boddington and Rachel Slays ringside at the same time for our match is letting me on to believe that you are afraid of losing this match to me and then having to be forced to defending the contendership contract against me. Deep down inside, Gilroy, you know that I can and I will defeat you tonight no matter what you try. I sense fear in your voice during your last promo, I know that your trying to cover it but you haven't been doing the greatest job at that. All of the immature remarks you have been making towards me haven't affected me at all. If I were you, I'd watch that interview segment over again to see how much of an adolescent you are. Tonight all of the jokes are going to stop. I have been getting prepared for this match all week long since it was announced. I have never been more foucsed and ready for a match then I am right now. Tonight Gilroy, your're going to find out why I call myself The Main Attraction. "

Jacob Clarke drops the microphone down on the mat with a serious look on his face as ''Fake It'' By Seether replays over to personal announce system. Jacob Clarke walks over to the ropes and exits the ring. He walks up the steel rampway and heads towards the back as Onslaught goes to a quick commercial break.
