Do you know where you were and what you were doing the morning the planes struck the World Trade Center Towers?

I had just woken and was on my PC chatting with a friend in Maryland when she told me something was up in Washington, DC and New York City. I turned on the TV to CNN covering the first crash. My roommates to me to turn off the goddam TV and shut up!

I was in a training class for a new job.  There were a bunch of us sitting around a table and a supervisor ran in to switch on the TV.  The reporter was talking about the first airplane hitting the WTC.  The first thing I did was to call my sons.

I was at work.  The first news came over the Internet.  We then turned on the TV and saw the live coverage.

I was at home watching television trying to call my son on the celtel which could not be reached because all hell broke loose with the telephone system.  My son was supposed to be in tower II on the 87th floor installing a new communications system.  They were almost at the building when they realized they forgot a critical piece of equipment and drove back to N.J. to retrieve it.  That delay saved theit lives just as similar events occurred for many people that day.  On a normal day at that time, the number of people in those buildings would have tripled but for some inexplicable reason.  I choose to believe it was God intervening and leave others to formulate their own opinion.  At any rate, my son is alive today because of a lapse at the right time.

I was at work in a room on north Bwing at the nursinghome when our administrator came running  up the hall calling out about a plane hitting the WTC. While we were glued to the various tvs wondering about the tragic accident, we saw the second plane hit and it came home with a vengeance.........this was no accident...........

I was at work at Wal-Mart when it happened. I was busy working on a car when the guy in the shop with me came back in telling me he heard it over the radio.
