If you keep a firearm handy for home defense do you also keep a flashlight mounted to it or a hand held one with it?

I keep hand held lights with 9mm pistols in different spots in the house. I have 2 ARs and a 9mm carbine with rail mounted lights. I dont figure on Ohio being a war zone tomorrow but the idea of being able to ID a threat at night seems like a good idea.

Our neighborhood has a fair amount of ambient light from street lighting and other security lights.  With the exception of closets (no light at all), you can move about the house in semi-darkness -- not completely dark.  I have a LED flashlight and the Glock 17 has a LaserGrip sight on it.  The biggest deterrent remains the two dogs.  If anyone is around the house, they raise a ruckus.  The backup to the Glock is a Winchester Model 1300 Defender with an 8-shot magazine.

I have motion sensors outside which shine right into my room when activated, plus a streetlight on my corner, so I can move around the house pretty well with no lights. The two dogs outside don't let a squirrel fart without telling me about it, so that helps too. So no, I don't actually keep flashlights handy.
