What do you think the chances are of gun owners having their guns returned to them in New Orleans?

Unless someone in the federal court system is prepared to force them, I don't see the NOPD returning anything to anyone!

That particular issue will have to be forced with legal documentation and a helluva lot of persistence on the owners' parts.

New Orleans, LA (NOLA) is going to be paying for a lot of damages from: (1) outright theft of property (supposedly being kept secure) and (2) guns stored improperly (rusty, damaged) and (3) for damaged caused by improper handling by the NOLA PD.  This means NOLA is going to be buying a lot of new guns for residents who had them illegally taken from them by force.

I think this is a golden opportunity for those who were victimized to upgrade their guns.
