I would love to know who is planning on going and what the entry may look like. My husband and I will fly in to see the dogs from Russia, Sweden, Finland and wherever to get an idea of who is doing what and where. I have been most impressed with the Russian blues seen in the latest photos and though I am not a red/fawn fan there seem to be some lovely animals in Europe in this color. If we could all get together, put aside differences for a bit, and look at the dogs together and talk about the visions for the future, this breed would thrive. We have remarkable opportunities, due to the internet and dedicated people, to shape a mentally and physically healthy breed and learn from each other. Of course we have to learn to trust, have ethics and being willing to put egos on the shelf if we want this breed to be as great as it can be. K |

Hello, I am back after 3 weeks offline. Computer crash....!!!
Im happy with the World dog show. I never went there the first 2 days, because of all sad things I have going trough... Worse thing; as I was staying 3 days extra in Prauge, looking for my lost dog... I needed to ask my sister to care for my dogs at home, a few hours last day...when my daughter was on a concert. sister let out all my dogs together. without supervisor, Result; 2 dogs where limping, one tooth half gone, one swollen eye..etc Things could be better. I had planned for this WDS event in 4-5 years...
Ok, I decided to go the last day, Sunday, when one of my friends asked if he could drive us to Stockholm. ;-)) My puppybyer Helena took care of us, and we borrowed her appartment (thanks).
It was very fun to be there, and I appreciated to meet other TRD friends. Especially the ones from Finland. They where crazy with the cameras. lol. Was like we never could go back home...because they looked for better areas too take pictures..and would not let us dissapear... Tina

I will share with critique latter for sure, have to ask all owners to give me some information... About size - I can say, the most tall dog from russia was Dan - World Champion. He is 62 cm tall. I know this for sure! So all judges are agree some dogs are tall enough, but nobody found it extra big... the smallest dog from russia had about 58cm and got very good mark... |

2007 WW ASIA and I were all ready and planning our trip but my back injury was getting worse by the day and I knew I would not be alble to make the flight and then show. I wish I could have gone and met everyone and their dogs. I met a great bunch of people last year in Mexico.
Who is going to the world show in 2010. If anyone in the US or Canada would like to travel with us Asia and I are going.
CONGRATS TO EVERYONE! |

I entirely agree with Lirena. I just want to add that all dogs except for Berry and Grey were exhibited by Olga Arsenjeva. And all these photos were made on the 4th of July on the first mono exhibition where the judge was from Uruguay. I’ll just remind that the greater number of dogs participated in the exhibition the next day, judged by Kasemsanta Apiwut (from Thailand) and also on the World Championship where the judge was from Italy (Dondina Paolo)

To satisfy the curiosity of all those dieing to know the detailed description I post this information. This one is dated 5th July from Thai judge:
19 month, excellent head with correct bite, beautiful eye-shape, correct ear set, really good size. Very good body, good tail, moves very well, excellent skin and coat.
And this is the description of Dan as a world champion(2008) from Italian judge : Rather big in size, very good coat texture, masculine head with correct wrinkles, beautiful cheeks, correct front and fore chest, correct ridge and tail, correct set of tail and carriage, excellent ear shape, well presented.
With all respect, Owner of Emiresky A’Blu Diamond ( Dan) Stanislav Kostin

Hey Anna! Accept my congratulations once again! It was a great a pleasure to compete with you, particularly under such good judgement. But the breath taking moment was when 3 places were awarded and for a second it seemed that we would be given the first place=))) But the judge has his right to choose the order as he likes) Nevertheless, we were extremely happy!
Best regards,
Stanisav, Diamond and his future wife Bibon) |
