How To Buy The Right TRD

Buying a TRD is not a decision to be taken lightly. A TRD is a gentle, charming but indomitable and independent pet dog, the breed is well known for being an one man type of dog and it is very devoted to its family, be sure it is the right addition for you and your family. The TRD is not the dog for everyone not for every family. However, given the right owner, it is the most rewarding of lovely companions.

You can save much of the care and effort of raising a TRD puppy by choosing one, which is in good health to start with. The new owner will save himself from much work; expense and disappointment if he will be sure to choose a healthy dog, one bred from sound parents and, which has, received adequate care and good food from the start.

Where you buy your puppy is important. Finding a reputable breeder needed a lot of home works. Contact your local Breed Club or Veterinarians in your area or people who own the breed to find a reputable breeder, talk to as many breeders as possible, look at their kennel conditions, learn their reasons for breeding and what their qualification are to be a breeder. How many litters a year do they have? Are these folks commercial breeders that are doing this for profit, or do they truly live the breed and are trying to better it? Are they sincerely interested in the breed? ...........

Reputable breeder has a true love for his dog, he does not sell only a dog, he sells confidence in the quality of his dogs and his friendship and dependability. These breeders have spend much time and effort to study bloodlines, to cares for their dogs and to observe them day after day as they develop. He has had to have patience and more patience because it requires experience and direct observation, trial and error over a period years until he can feel conscientiously that he has a good working knowledge of breeding, an understanding of the laws of heridity and bloodlines. So his dog are bred according to the breed Standard, they are represented truthfully, correct papers are furnished and they are sound dogs worth the purchase price.

A good breeder breeds for himself in the first place. His only motive is to improve the quality of his dogs. He is like the artist who hates to part with his own creation, but he must part with them, he cannot keep them all. He will not sell a dog until he find a prospective buyer who's are willing to care for his dog. It is important to know that when you purchase a dog, it's like you signing a contract with this dog to care for him in sickness and in health; the responsibility for the raising of a happy and healthy dog rest solely with you.

If you are looking a definite show dog and will be un happy if your TRD is not a "flyer" in the ring, then do not buy a puppy. It is impossible to predict how perfect a young puppy will be when he grows up. The experience show breeder may pick only the most "promising" puppies with some potentials, but he cannot honestly give you a guarantee that you are purchasing a future champion. It is only the uncrupulous breeder that takes advantage of the novice by making foolish promises to induce a sale.

Dogs by nature are alert, active creatures, do not be attracted to the quiet little puppy in the corner. A healthy puppy is lively and friendly, they should look with bright eyes, a clean nose, firm gums, clean coat and always in good flesh, ribs and hips bones well covered, feet round and similar to a cat's paw. The TRD come in four colors- RED, BLUE, BLACK and FAWN (isabella)- with 8 different kinds of variation in the shape of the ridge, BEWARE of so called "rare colors" or "rare ridges". Use "SENCE" to choose the right breeder  and finding the right puppy in the right places and remember that before your dog can be a GREAT TRD he must be a good, healthy and sound dog ~ A good sound dog plus correct breed TYPE and CHARACTERISTIC and you have the World's most beautiful dog.
