Hi there !! Do you know why we often see flabbiness or loose folds skin between the neck and shoulder (wither) in our breed when head is carried high? and the same loose skin aroung the tail set when tail is erect ? |

I belive it is related to incorrect structure and placement of the neck on the shoulders, and possibly, the tail is set too high or low? causing the skin to "bunch" up when tail is raised or neck is erect.. |

Must be from an incorrect, forward neck and an low tailset? Probably comes together with round eyes and too much skin around the neck. ;-) I dont see any reasons for an TRD handler to hold the tail, an correct dog should carry both its head and tail)

This seems more common in very short haired animals - blues is where I have noticed most. My Ginger has "evenly" distributed loose skin. No real wrinkles except for occasional on forehead. Jo-Ann
