A rhodesian crossed anything allong the lines of a mastiff or staffie or pitt is a realy bad cross .
There has been 2 cases in theuk now of rhodesian ridgeback bites one was a small boy realy hurt nasty and the other an adult bitten on the face but in both cases they were not full RR but of corse the press has em as RR s .
The rhodesian is not a close up breed as in it would rather bark its back side off 5 ft away than come close and bite, it knows its size is enough and its history is to corner an animal deer or lion and hold its quarry /pray till the huntsman comes or another dog goes in for the end so natural they aint dogs to fly up to someone. and when you cross them with more forward breed its trouble. I have 5 here and even when we had the pup visitors did not get barked at , they know whats what .If i was not here then they would not let someone in as they make enough noise but otherwise all is good with them.
