Hello guys. I just want to show my new pet. Swedish Ch Pyttestors Marimba, callname "Paigan". Perro sin pelo del Peru, 4 years old medio bitch, 44 cm and 11 kilos. The owner/ breeder could not keep her, and asked me to get involved in the breed...and care for her future. (- Well, leave her here with me and my 8 TRDs if you dare.. (yummy !)) ;-)
Strange thing; My TRDs love her, they sleep in same bed etc. They really made me surprised. Thanks to Ina who trusted me and gave me Paigan. Tina |

Peruvian Inca Orchid??? If you breed her next year please let me know or if you are looking for a US show home we can help. I met a few of these and they are a riot. We are on a downhill slide with the harrier and maltese and think the time is short (11 and 15 years old)....I always love a small dog and I am starting the looking process now. K |

Hi and thanks for all comments. I got the clothes, yes! I do. And she got a boyfriend too, one imported from Prague CZ especially for her. His name is "Hawk". I tyhink she will be bred twice, once to Hawk, and one more time to another one from abroad. Maybe France or from same breeder as Hawk.
There are more strange names of this breed ; Moonflower dog, etc. Its said the naked ones where only out on the streets night time, or they warmed their owners beds. A help for rheumatism. (she loves to sleep under the cover, and warm my feets! She is very soft and cool, much easier then the active TRDs...). The coated ones where used for foods..... Lots of history background. Thats why I like the primitive breeds. I wanted a small size dog, I looked for both Xolos and Peruians, but the PSP breed needs more help, and there are a lot of contacts in EU. Sad its impossible to get dogs from Peru, because they are so rare. They are not alloud to leave the home country. tina |

Paigan/Marimba died yesterday. Hit by a police car. Worst thing; It was my 17 year old girl that opend the door, when she ran away. We looked for her in 3 hours. Reported her missing to the police. Then we got the call from the police himself.... Tina, crying like crazy...

Ohhh Tina I´m so sorry to hear that she was hit by a car! I haven't had so much time for the internet lately so this was just a blow in the stomach! You have had so much misfortune, I feel sorry for you! It's not so unusual that basenjis dies in car or train accidents. They are completely stupid about cars and they want to hunt trains! Tina, I think of you and hope that you will have some bright and better days in the future. Marimba looked lovely! Helene |

She was an unusual dog. " thai means free". Then I just wonder what Peruian means....(hmm. free like a wind???)
Actually this was second time she was reported gone. The little smart dog could opend doors, even doors with unusual locking. like the ones on balconys and so on. (turn them left---right etc) Last time/ second night in my home she opend the door, and ran 5 kilometers away. The police called us the next day. She had scratched on an other kennels door. an kennel for some kind of Tibetian (spaniels or whatever, I am shure they sounded like her buddys from home).
Her selfconfidence made me more shure she could make it this time also.... Sadly not (the police he turned the car in her running direction. i am pretty shure , this is not what to do.. but too late anyway)
The body is on the police station in an plastic black garbage bag- I still not know how to deal with it. Give me strength.

Thank you for thinking of me. We feel a little bit better today. Of cause - nothing can replace Marimba.
Ina plan to breed Hawk with her friends dog " Pink Lady". This is the best we can do to get similar bloodline back.
I have ordered an new PSPP puppy from abroad, I was happy to came across the sweetest breeder ever...and there are plans for even more additions..
Its kind of my way to solve my depressions. "Getting new dogs", and "new plans" when all feels upside down.. I am pretty shure some of you do the same. I know some of you with more dogs then me....;-)
(I can not even feel happy for my upcoming TRD litter! -- I want spotted ones...RIP Marimba. PSPP - such an lovely breed. And they can live together in harmony!!! Not like a pack of TRDs. No I would not leave the TRD breed. But most of you know about the problems to get new bloodlines. Sweden is like an iceland up north ;-))
