Hi there there everybody,
On the 12th of September we will welcome what we beleive to be the very first Thai Ridgeback in South Africa. Actually I think it will be the very first Thai Ridgeback in the whole of Africa.
BuaThong Wowwadee will land at Johannesburg International Airport thanks to Tina Nordin from Sweden. Thanks Tina you have been the best!
BuaThong will get the royal treatment he deserves on his flight over here as he is being flown over by his very own personal airline Captain and will travel in the pilots lounge just behind the cockpit of the 747-400 freighter. It helps to have a boyfriend who is an airline pilot.
He will come home to three German Shepherd and on over energetic Border Collie, twelve acres of fenced in garden and lots and lots of love. BuaThong will be introduced to his new family by one of South Africa's best dog trainers, we are not taking any chances with him and in November he will be receiving a visit Bernhard Flinks from the German Police dog unit, a thirty year veteran dog handler and trainer. BuaThong will have his very own training porgram tailor made for his personallity and temperament worked out for him. Hopefully in the not too distant future we will be looking for another little Thai Ridgeback female but for now he will be a dog amongst dogs and a real celebrity in Africa.
Gail
