It´s time to say goodbye to the puppies of our first litters.

A few month ago I get the message that Spike vom Tor zum Rheingau died with an age of nearly 12.
A few weeks ago my grandma phoned us and told us that her female Quanni vom Tor zum Rheingau died with an age of 13 1/2.
Since two days she felt bad and in this night Quanni came into the sleeping room. My grandma gave her water and a place to sleep and cuddle her and spoke with her. Normally Quanni sleeps on her couch in the living room. After a while she went down into the living room again. My grandma get nervous after a time and follows Quanni into the living room. Quanni layed in her couch and still did the last breath. It seems that she wanted to say goodbye to my grandmother.

We all were very sad about the death of our puppies. We saw them from time to time or sometimes we get an email, a call...

But now they are in front of the rainbowbridge and wait for their owners. Until the time will come they will pass the rainbow bridge with their owners, they can play with their mother Samorn and their littermates and all the other animals over there.

These are pics of my grandma and her Quanni a month before she died.

I'm sorry Nadine!  It is so hard to say goodbye. Your Grandmother's Quanni was a special noble girl. I'm sure your Grandma is missing her so much.

Dear Nadine,
There comes a time for all living things to end. My health has been questionable for a longtime and I often wonder if Ginger or I will go first. She is my last dog. She is only 6, which is young for our dogs but I think her early years took a toll as did her breeding. To me she seems to be aging more rapidly than any of the other dogs we've had.
So sorry to ear of all your losses so close together.
Jo-Ann
