A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten, ...to live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever! You were more than just a pet, you were my best friend and truly a once in a lifetime companion. You were more than just a show dog, you were my teacher. Thanks for all your guidances and happy show time. Always happy to see you waiting at the front door when I came home to bury your head into my lap, and ready to go outside for daily bike. You know I dislike shorbet, and hate you shaking head around me, but still ....you did! and never improve during the year. I pray you didn't suffer and that you are enjoying the lush green fields to run in. I'll never forget you, and will see you at the Rainbow Bridge down the road. Take care buddy.....see you later ! * * * * * * * * * |

A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten, ...to live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever! I am so sorry Serge! “The Power of the Dog?/FONT>
Rudyard Kipling
THERE is sorrow enough in the natural way From men and women to fill our day; And when we are certain of sorrow in store, Why do we always arrange for more? Brothers and Sisters, I bid you beware Of giving your heart to a dog to tear. Buy a pup and your money will buy Love unflinching that cannot lie?/FONT> Perfect passion and worship fed By a kick in the ribs or a pat on the head. Nevertheless it is hardly fair To risk your heart for a dog to tear. When the fourteen years which Nature permits Are closing in asthma, or tumour, or fits, And the vet’s unspoken prescription runs To lethal chambers or loaded guns, Then you will find—it’s your own affair?/FONT> But . . . you’ve given your heart to a dog to tear. When the body that lived at your single will, With its whimper of welcome, is stilled (how still!). When the spirit that answered your every mood Is gone—wherever it goes—for good, You will discover how much you care, And will give your heart to a dog to tear. We’ve sorrow enough in the natural way, When it comes to burying Christian clay. Our loves are not given, but only lent, At compound interest of cent per cent. Though it is not always the case, I believe, That the longer we’ve kept ’em, the more do we grieve. For, when debts are payable, right or wrong, A short-time loan is as bad as a long?/FONT> So why in—Heaven (before we are there) Should we give our hearts to a dog to tear?

Serge, So sorry to hear about Gordon. We all know what it feels like to lose a beloved pet. They seem to leave a crater in our lives, especially the 1 in a millon some of us receive to care for. Jo-Ann Not ALL dogs have the same impact on our lives. All are missed though. |

Hi, I´m so sorry with you Serge. But think about that he´s now playing free and young again in front of the rainbow bridge until you´ll meet each other again. It´s hard to loose a friend and a companion. Keep up and look in the evening up to the sky, there will be one new star which is only shining for Gordon. Bye Nadine |
