Hope was a six month old yellow Thai Ridgeback puppy that was found hiding under a car at the Home Depot in Rosenberg, Texas.  The shelter had her for two weeks, before they could figure out who to contact regarding this little lost pup.

I got the information too late.  When I was first contacted by a concerned person about this little pup, I gave her the name of Hope, because that is what she needed.  Hope had a foster home to go to, but we (ATROWOLD rescue), got the information a little too late, and she was already put down.  The shelter is a high kill shelter and they actually kept her longer than they are allowed to keep most pets.

I cried as well as Mary Ann cried today for this poor little pup who we never got a chance to meet.  Hope is now in a better place, and you can view her photo's at my petfinder.com website by following the link to the Happy Tails.

Hope is no longer in pain or suffering, she has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.  Please know that we at rescue had tried to do everything we could to save her life.  What we need most, is people to realize that when they get a pet, that pets are for life.

Til' we meet someday...I love you Hope

In memory of Hope. Perhaps her legacy will be to remind us what can happen, what does happen more often than not to puppys and dogs created and sold without thought or heart.
