Hi all,
now I found time to put in some pics of our litte cuties. Now they are 4 weeks old and really very active.
My eatingroom is now the puppyroom and there is the puppybox inside, a tunnel, a ball-tent and a lot of toys. They are really active and everytime they wake up, we go out into the garden with them. They also had a cardrive two days ago into my garden. Normally we are in my parents garden which is at the house. I have a special dog garden 5 minutes walking away. We also have daily visitors and when now people come they walk towards them, play with them and lay on their legs.
All are black and no one get the nice red colour of the daddy. :(
Willy is the biggest one and has no ridge.
Woody is the second mal and has only a little point ridge.
Whoopy is a really nice female with a perfect ridge but I found a DS when she was 4 days old.
Witchy is a beautiful puppy with a nice ridge, very similiar to her daddy.
Winnypooh is our little girl, her ridge is also similiar to Thaikos ridge.

They are all very beautiful and have a energy, we never had at puppies before. They love to run and play. It will be funny next 4 weeks until they go to their new families.

Please have a look at my website there are much more pics of them and also videos. I will add new pics in the next days there if my puppys give me a free time :) www.thai-ridgeback.de

Have fun with the album I made....

Bye Nadine and doggies

For more pics click here: (I have not enough space to put all pics into the album)

@ Helmut: I think this post was full of wasted words! We dislike each other so let´s keep us distance and don´t tell I do not work if you don´t know it! Don´t tell lies about me. I study for sure and I have now my exam but I work daily in my parents shop and if we don´t have puppies I also work in a school as teacher.

I have the luck to live together with great parents and a great brother and his girlfriend. Our shop is in our home and it´s a family business, so I can ration my working time. And our dogs are family members where everybody looks after.

Í tried to explain how I think about breeding and I also tolerate what other breeders think about breeding. It´s good that we all are not the same. Everybody has to go his own way.

@ Tina: And yes I can´t be sure what´s written in pedigrees, but I know the backround of my dog and I can try to find a good mate. If I will make the right decision is not sure. The only thing I can do is to do my best. And the best I think.

This will be my last post in this community. I really like the discussion, but I dislike if someone tells about me that I´m unemployed or that I do not know how it is to work. This is personal and has nothing to do with the goal of this community. Especially if this is not true.

Bye Nadine

Nadine, its between you and Helmut, lets keep it there.

I have seen the rumors spread about his dog, and I understand his hurted feelings.
You better cool down. Every breeder has his own etics.
I want this site open for every opinon. I dont like banning and I want the site open for every kind of comment or opinion.
Thats what make people opendmind or whats make people change.
Its better to keep the board running then bann or scare away members......
Negative opinions is better then no opinions at all....

just my thoughts.      Tina  (LOL)

Please stay Nadine!    I appreciate what you are doing with your puppies and the posts you make about your dogs.   I find your methods interesting, well thought out and productive.

You shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone about your personal life.

I have no idea what was said on other boards about Helmut's dog, nor do I care.

Dear Nadine,
Please stay. I agree with YOUR breeding practices also. We bred our Elkhounds to return to original use - hunting. I was told to show but had 2 children 16 months apart and could barely fit time for myself in let alone drag puppy and baby just to show I had purebred puppy - was fluff to me! We spent our time with 1st pup training hunting commands and second pup was whelped same day as I gave birth to baby. I had 2 6 week olds! Our Elkhounds amazed people at their hunting ability and response to our commands. Purebreds can be bred for things other than show. I think it takes a certain kind of dog person to appreciate the work that goes into doing anything with a dog.
We all know about TRD pedigrees! Breeding is the proof of the pudding. I agree with you that YOU know your dog and that is half of breeding.
Jo-Ann

Also, one must not tell someone their recipe has too much salt and then sprinkle more salt into the pot while passing by the stove.

It's sad that here is so much angry discussion between breeders, I think that we just need to keep personal things personal and be focused on the most important thing breeding healthy TRDs and give to each other knowledge what we know about it.

Nadine please stay with us... I've just got my studies to end and I'm working now and it feels like I'm on holiday , because I only work 8 hours per day, but being student is 24/7

Hi,
sorry that I didn´t write earlier, but the puppies get more and more active every day. But now I count the day they will go to their new families. On monday the first two puppies will move in their new home and one day later one more puppy.....I think I found now really good families. All of them will make dogsport in the future for sure and I think they will be very good in it. They still run to a tunnel and have no fear to jump and walk over different obstacles. We really do a lot with them. Since nearly two weeks we go into the field with them for a walk twice a day. There they can run with our adult ones. Filou mostly run away from them or start playing with them but with a secure distance of 10 m :) Pebbles accept Ratte and Vichy to be close to her puppies. She allows them to play and to educate them. She also alows her dogfriends to be with the puppies.
We had until now a lot of adventures. We drove to a wood, to friends, to a meeting with other dog (only shar Peis), we had visits of  a lot of friends, the new families, we were in my big garden.....and we met different dogs. When I see them how they can communicate with other dogs, I can only say that my old GSD, Pebbles and Filou made a good work. They show them how to speak dog language. It´s also intersting how much calming signals they still understand and can make.
They eat everything: bananas, puppy food, pig ear, small snacks.....and they are really easy to motivate. But when we go for a walk with them we have to change the places. When we were 3 times at the same place they look for a place they never went before and start running and don´t listen. So when we are at foreign places they follow really good. That´s Thai puppies - five puppies - five different directions. I think that they think : we are big enough to look how big the world is :)

yesterday we have been at a specialist for DS. He also looked at all puppies and as I said before only Whoopy had one DS in the neck. The vet operated her yesterday with an age of 7 weeks. Normally he operates DS puppies with 6 weeks. He is a specialist for RR and here in germany they are only allowed to give DS puppies away when they are operated. Whoopy slept a lot yesterday, but in the night I had to seperate her from her siblings cause she forget that she has a scarve in her neck and she wanted to play with the others. Today she was our with me for a walk with the adults and she´s still fit and full of energy. Now she´s laying beside me in our shop and is happy for everybody coming in our shop :)

I add you some pics from last week. I tried to make some stand pictures. Please feel free to comment them. There are two which have the hair of Thaiko and Filou and two who have the velvet coat of Pebbles. It wasn´t easy to make pics of them cause they dislike to stand free - sausages helped us.

Bye NAdine

Hi Tina,
yes it´s good that we can operate her so early. I think it´s better to operate before there will be an infection.
She feels very good now and we have to stop her. She wants to play with her siblings, but they bite into the neck during the game. So she´s now laying beside us in the shop and eats a pigear.

Bye NAdine

Dear Tina! Your phrase about "blue and fawn dogs imported to Russia and EU are related, from the same breedingstock, but not in the papers." was so amazed for all us!!! Ha-ha!
All owners of blue and fawn dogs in EU and especially in Russia are absolutely shoked you Great Discovery!!!   Of course it was so evident!   And how didn't we know that???  We all hope you can submit all documentation to help us all to uncover Russian conspiracy and to stop Russian and EU TRD mafia!!!
But only one problem - untill you do so your opinion  is MEANINGLESS....

By the way, Tina, what is 1500 km one way? And how do you know that stud has not faked pedigree? I did 15.000 for my Thaima last time... But of course, I didn't know yet that she is relative to her husband and all dogs in Thailand and EU... So it was pretty stupid... :) By the way, even it was, seams, blood in this line was super cool, if I had such puppies as I had!
