Hi all.I have been contacted bty a friend of mine, and he is also my webmaster of our website. He is seeking a home for his black TRD.I will have pics of him soon, that I will post, and we will post him on our website as well.He is developing an aggression issue, and will not accept his girlfriend. He has attacked her.He has been training with him,and has sought pro help in it.I instructed him to work with a behaviorist as i feel there is something causing this. He has made a firm decision that he would like to place him in another home. He is up for adoption.I will have more details for you soon as he contacted me from a vacation and will forward me info on his return,as well as post to our site.He has all the fine points of a TRD ,but is missing 2 canines,1 upper and 1 lower due to heavy antibitoic use in his puppy hood to recover from pneumonia. If you have any questions about him,I will answer what I can,but will forward more detail soon. He is 18 months old,and his name is Baghera. James

Dear James,
I'm glad you posted his age. Ginger has gotten more aggressive and will not obey. Come never was a command she would obey! I'm hoping when my arm is healed she will be better. It has been 5 weeks so have more to go before I can walk her again. She starts out wild and needs sometime to calm down. Can't pull on arm as not fully healed. Think that is her problem - hope so!

Jo-Ann

Hi JoAnn. I have the problem with the come command with my red girl as well. Not necessarily defiant, but definitely selective. She is not aggressive with us at all, in fact quite the opposite. She is not timid in anyway, but very submissive to me. She has also submissive urianted with me. If I raise my voice at her.If she is sniffing or playing, I call her 4-5 times sometimes, and she ignores me! Sometimes to the point where i have to go towards her to get her attention. All my others come on first command. Welll, ThaLaw sometimes needs reinforcement, but I am very happy with his response.
Are you interested in this male? I can get you more info. I am commited to another dog in similar circumstance, so I am not the best candidate right now for him, as when I receiev the other, I will need to work with him, as well as my own dogs, and there is just so much time lin my life! I am hoping to help find him someone who undertands him and will work with him. James

Dear James,
I was just curious about behavioral change. It seems a lot of dogs become unruly at/about 6 yrs.
My husband will simply pick her up. I can't do that yet. She is not agressive with us just throwig tantrums - knows I can't catch her. But with others she knows will now growl. As I said before hope this is protective since my functions are limited.
Jo-Ann
My husband would KILL me - I have been told could probably not kennel her - so she travels with us!

JoAnn
